I was always a Robin Williams fan, especially his earlier stuff. He proved to be a wonderful actor in "Good Will Hunting" I guess not everyone gets his sense of humor. That's what makes the world go round. I still say he would be amazing in Aladdin on B'way because it would be a different show every night
and Kristin Chenoweth could play his wife and they and their two kids could drive cross country in an RV. Oh, wait ...
I saw that movie only because she was in it.
We have to do these University seminars that are scheduled periodically through August. If you're in a location where it's happening live, you go in person, otherwise you do it virtually. Out of the three held so far, I, along with a bunch of other folks couldn't even get in for the first one. The second one I had no problem, but others couldn't get on, and the third one, which was a little while ago, started fine and then about 18 minutes into it, sound was lost and video of the presenter got all pixelated, if it was there at all! Unbelievable! There's one next week, but it's in my location, so I'll go in person. If they want us to do these things, they'd better get their act together!!

Those kind of things never happen to me when I plan a meeting.

I took the morning off! Very nice!
We have sun here!!!
No coffee for me today, straight to diet coke!
I gave my mother a magnet that reads, 'Give me coffee and no one gets hurt.' It seemed appropriate at the time.

Tired. Cranky. Anxious.
Cooking time.
Lunchtime. Warm. Sleepy.
Baking banana bread. Cathartic.
I just got in from my internet radio class - what joy! I'm having so much fun. Tonight we went into the booth for the first time and did 5 minutes of the show we are creating for ourselves; mine is "American Theatre: Who The F*** Cares?" and I had a blast. I thought I would enjoy it but even I was surprised how comfortable I was in front of that microphone. And the feedback was deliriously ego-inflating. I had a hard time getting my head through the front door of my apartment!
Can't wait until next week!

Excellent! D2, cleaned the kitchen and am now eating girlscout cookies!
I just ordered dinner - I hate eating this late but I didn't get a chance to get anything before class, and there's nothing in the apartment except "snow emergency" soup. How pathetic is it that I'm too lazy to open a can, pour the contents into a bowl and push a button on the microwave?
Anyone except Shira may answer that, and NO, Shira, you may not communicate your answer through anyone else.
A few things...
I was surprised how comfortable I was in front of that microphone.

As for the second thing, to which I'll not respond, I'll just kindly mention how I've made roasted butternut squash and a large batch of Chicken Barley Stew, in addition to fresh homemade pickled beets.
Pack it in dry ice, get your bony little ass to FedEx and send me a serving or two.
LOL!
Well, when I move back to NY...(cross your fingers everyone, we're coming up on acceptance and rejection time, 2 weeks!) I'll hopefully live in a place where I can cook and have company. And you gentlemen will come over for dinner and marvel at how well you've trained me. In this discipline, anyhow.

I was just thinking the same thing, Tink! I brought a little something-something to tie us over.
