Girly can hit a note that is worse than a bite. Let's just say that if she was on Idol the judges would tell her that she has "pitch" problems.

Good mornin', All!
JG, I have never been so happy and excited for someone and so bitterly jealous at the same time!
I know it's kind of late to ask, but there's no chance of you pushing your departure back til the end of June, is there? Yeah, I thought not.
We'll just have to meet up on the other side of the ocean someday.

LMAO! JEEZ! Is nothing sacred??? LOL!
No, but it was very, very close! Had I kept my eyes closed for a few more seconds, I so would have! I was dead to the world at about 8:30 last night.

Morning.
My brother, who is 35yo, has had some difficulty deciding what he wanted to be when he grew up. He's just sort of wandered along so far, not really sure how to 'make things happen' in his life that would actually lead to fulfillment and happiness - or, at least, some measure of peacefulness.
I had told him years ago that it wasn't all that difficult - he just needed to identify his passions (or 'bliss', according to some,) and let that awareness inform his choices. He's always joked that he hated me for that, simply because he hadn't been able to honestly find anything that made him passionate. It certainly wasn't the world of computers, in which he has his degree, and in which he has labored for years with absolutely no satisfaction whatsoever.
WELL, he lost his job recently to a corporate takeover, and got himself set up to attend a private Aikido Dojo for a couple of months, just to give him time to think and heal. In the meantime, he is currently in Hawaii for a couple of weeks of scuba diving, which he recently got certified in.
He called me last night in tears, because on his dive yesterday, he spent most of his time listening to whales singing all around him. He said he felt like they were calling just to him, and he was ready to hear the message - and he's probably going to return directly to Hawaii after his 'monastic break' to pursue finding a way to spend his time underwater, and still be able to maintain a stable existence on land. He said, "I feel passionate about this."
I am beyond ecstatic to have heard him respond with light and laughter to his own existence, and feel that this might have opened his eyes to a way he can truly be ALIVE. The world will be the beneficiary of some wonderful gifts, if he has found a way to allow himself to 'be'.
I love my brother with all my heart, and this has been a gift I've wanted for a long, long time.

Congrats to your brother, I have a sister who moved to find herself and on day three misery is all that she has found, but give her a few days
