"And Brd, Jaily, I'm back to penises"
Your back is to penises? You are a gay man!

Posted: 3/12/10 at 7:37pmI like a good bum, yes. But not of the hobo variety.
#3229Rainy, foggy Friday!
Posted: 3/12/10 at 7:39pmNo, but the hoMo variety is a different matter...
#3230Rainy, foggy Friday!
Posted: 3/12/10 at 7:41pmGod bless the homo honey buns.
#3231Rainy, foggy Friday!
Posted: 3/12/10 at 7:44pmWow, this conversation has gone to interesting places today. Will there be a commemorative program?
#3232Rainy, foggy Friday!

Oh dear. I hate hot rainstorms, Hep!
Lovely, Deet. Must I start baking them for you and Q?
#3237Rainy, foggy Friday!
Posted: 3/12/10 at 8:05pmI love baking.

No thanks, Shira. I think we're both satisfied with the honey (and sometimes justifiably cross) buns we have.
Hep, I like to bake too, and despite my legendary lack of cooking skills, I'm quite a good baker. Usually.

Aw, cute Deet!
Just finished dinner with Dad. Had a good talk about drugs. Also known as "What do you need from Mexico?" (The answer: Some asthma meds, that's IT, I promise).
He leaves tomorrow, I'm so very much excited. And YWIW, to answer your question earlier, no icebergs ahead.

Back from dinner and services with my sister and my mom. Oy.
It is my grandma's yartzeit (anniversary of her death), so I agreed to go to Temple. Little did I know it was also a 100 year old woman's bat mitzvah. She was freaking amazing, but the thai food we had for dinner was not as impressed. Glad to be home.
And Shira, glad the future is iceberg free.

I'm so intrigued by getting referenced in conversations I haven't been participating in . . .
Disney was what it usually is - perfect.
I'll be following up on a few things - with the intent that they WILL be perfect when I'm done.

That's not vague or anything. I can't even deduce with this amount of vague.

If it doesn't involve you, you don't have to deduce anything.
I believe I've adequately established that I have NO problem saying what I want to - to the person I need to say it to.
Questions?

None. But just to be safe, I'll try and behave for 24 hours. Wait, make that 19. My house party starts at 8. Wait, make it 11. The boyfriend and I are going wine shopping tomorrow.
11 hours of good behavior.

Forget about your powers of deduction, Shira and concentrate on your powers of observation: I'm the one who asked about icebergs.
And my answer to that is: Pity.
I just met with a financial adviser. Humbling. Goodbye, Bloomies. Hello, Walmart.

Shamey! Prayers and good thoughts and good karma and all that positive stuff for your mom! Please keep me posted! XOX
LOVE the photo, and so thrilled that it was such a great trip. I SO look forward to the recap and seeing photos.
Deet, I'm on that same plan... *sigh* (Had a meeting with my financial guy recently and am finalizing my taxes. Joy)
Insane week.
Utterly, ridiculously insane.
And have been up and working since early this morning.
And then it's out to run errands in the rain.
And turn the clock ahead tonight, which means Monday morning will be a bit of a struggle. I don't mind the morning, but my internal body clock takes a while to adjust.
Hep, have I ever mentioned how much I love the comments you make while all manner of crazy conversation is unfolding here? You have such a gift with words!
Saturday greetings to all!

Change in status? "The boyfriend and I are going wine shopping tomorrow."
Addy - crazy weeks are on the rise it seems. My financial guy basically told me to dump my rental condo and just take what gains I have and run. I have never been much of a Bloomies gal, so at least that is good.
Stay safe in the rain.
