So my daughter just called to say that there's an opening in her firm's NYC office. She's seruously considering applying and moving up there. Sigh. She must have had a REALLY good time this past weekend.
Moony - that is awesome!!!
They are hiring for a few positions in our new NYC office. I really wish they were looking from inside because I would take it in a second. The office is on Broadway & 29th. *sigh*
D2 - I actually had already put both those books as well as June's other book on my "to buy" list.
Tink - I'm reading the second book now. Also fascinating stuff.
Moony, how wonderful. We'd see you more often!

Well, it would be the same position she has here, but they better pay her a whole lot more than they do now - she'd never make it there on her present salary.
True, Moony, but if she really wants it she'll find a way to make it work.

Soooooo....basically, if she can make it there, she'll make it anywhere?
Top of the heap, Moony!
I want cookies.

Why Moony, you're a cookie teaser!

Had I known you had a hankering for one, I would have mailed one up to you!
I have crackers. Not nearly as enticing as cookies.
I am having organic brown rice with peas and carrots for lunch. Yuck. On a mission to lose some weight. There goes all the fun for a bit.
CHEEZE-ITS!!! That's what I want!

Bring some back for me. I'm now eating pretzels. I can tell that I'm eating out of stress and axiety. Gee......wonder what set that off?

I WAS LOCKED OUT OF BWW FOR THE LAST 30 MINUTES!

Well at least I know their definition of "sleeping."

Hee hee. I thought the same thing. Nice to know they survived the first week.
No cheez-its for me, I gotta get my ass in gear. I'm making a lovely quiche (mini ones, no crust), so those should suffice.
I love that I get my snack fix in the thread!
Deet, please sweep up those cheez-it crumbs. They are falling on my nice, semi-clean carpet.
Here, I'll provide the supplies, but Deet needs to clean up after himself.
Thank you, Shira. That will do the trick. Now, where is the culprit?
