I've been checking on gluten-free restaurants in NYC for a trip with my diet-challenged daughter. Found a great place in the theatre district and on in my beloved UWS. I won't have to abandon her at meal time after all!

Oh, and for who care, the US Nordic combined mens team had a wonderful day at the Olympics today.
Hey, peeps!
Moony, I"m so happy for the US. You have had a wonderful Olympics. I can say that we have won two - count 'em, two - medals so far. Finland may laugh at us, but it's not bad for a country not exactly noted as a winter wonderland.

Yes, the summer games are much more your area of sport, Sport!
:)
Summer Games are only two and a half years away, mate!
Moony, you have a fine trip planned. You lucky thing.

Well, it's only in the 'feasibilty study' phase of planning. I'm checking on my options.
Feasibility studies are half the fun.

Yes, right up to the time when you have to put deposits down.
A little pain for a lotta pleasure.
Deet! Looks like we have to return before March 1st!
(Seriously - we have to make a date!)
Am disappointed to hear that our favorite Maitre d' is no longer there! Do you know where he went? I wonder if he was moved to the Bar Artisanal which opened in Tribeca? (which I keep meaning to try...)
Moony, I support this vacation idea!
Hep, I think you need to pay NYC a visit!
Ah, the summer Olympics. London 2012.
We are well into our work on that one... Time just kind of loops over itself!
Homeward bound. Am in the mood for a good Audrey film
Back from the voodoo dr. after many a needle in my shoulder and neck. Getting old kind of sucks.
Oh, YWIW! Are you alright? Rest, dear, rest.
Oh yeah, I tore a ligament in my shoulder a couple of years ago, and I get treatment every few weeks as it gets stiff and sore.
And, I will try to rest in a couple of hours.
I hope your mom is doing better.
Getting old DOES suck. I was informed that I looked 30 the other day because "Shira, stress ages you". 10 year olds are GREAT.
*Note. NOT that 30 is old at ALL, I'm just not there yet!
She is much improved, YWIW. Thank you.
Shira, it ranks up there with the first time a store clerk calls you 'ma'am.' Ugh.
I get called ma'am but that's 'cause my kids are trying to be polite.
Good manners should be encouraged.
Off to bed. The ice on my shoulder is melted, and that is a sure sign of the end of the evening.
Good night aging rapidly Adults.
Good night, YWIW.
I'm watching the women's short program from the night before.
Wow, Joannie Rochette. That was beautiful and intense.
Morning. I made it here, but not sure if I'll last through the morning. I'll see. Not sure if I'm schlepping into the city later, either. Boo.

THE STROM MISSED US!!!!! It stayed off to the east by 50 miles so they cancelled our winter storm warning. Sucks to be you guys, though.
Morning. Gotta love it. It is 8:30 (office opens at 7:45- and I'd say 75% of us are here...and the e-mail just comes in now that you know, if we want to stay home it's ok. This is from our VP who, ya know, works from TX and our other VP works from CA. Not exactly the best to inform you what is going on in NJ. /bitter rant
The snow started by me around 730 but it has been coming down pretty fast so far. Interesting to see what it turns into.

That does suck, Tink. Bleh to them. Our HQ is in Texas now, and they had snow last week. Seems one of head honchos that works out there in Legal was in the office and most of his staff worked from home. Turns out even though they worked from home all day, he made them take a vacation day. Nice guy.
Oh and I'll prob book out of here around 11ish. We'll see.
