Shira, thanks! I do love that restaurant!
I just made a reservation at a pub I like in the area. Decided to keep it simple.
For some reason all of the usual places I go to were fully booked (Keen's, Seven, etc...)

I am going to see this concert tonight, and I cannot wait!!

We have a very exciting beginning back-packing class tonight - planning to go backpacking in the North Cascades to Glacier Peak sometime this summer. If summer ever arrives.

Moony, I saw her in concert at Radio City a few years ago, and she was amazing. And yes, she looks great!
I haven't seen James Taylor perform in a while - but he has always been a favorite. A very special favorite!
(I had the great honor of getting to know him a little when I had his daughter in my class many years ago when I was teaching 4th/5th grade)

Am going with a friend from high school... will be a special night!

DD, can't wait to hear about the back-packing class! Sounds wonderful! I love getting out into the great outdoors!!

One of my fave pics EVER, Addy

They have a natural zoo out near Palm Springs, and one of the areas has Giraffes and Ostriches together. They get along famously, and love to play with each other. I have spent HOURS there just watching them!

Of all the magnificent creatures I was blessed to be able to see on my African Safari, the giraffe were my favorite.

Everything about them just captured my heart.

I'd love to find a good natural zoo near here...
