It's that JC accent.

Oh, NO - now I'm going to have Allan Sherman singing "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh" stuck in my head!
Thanks, Moony
Hi kids ... tonight is a 3-martini night, maybe 4. Beer just won't do.
DD, sounds like a rough day....*hugs*
My God, DD! Even I can't do 4 in one night!
Martinis, I mean.
No sure I can either ... but that's sort'a the point. :-/
SO ... what's everyone doing for Moony's birthday? I'm hoping the rain stays away Saturday so we can go on a long-ish hike. Sunday staying close for the fireworks ... will be doing lots of reading (plays mostly.)

Starting the day with a Shakespeare company that does a reading of the Declaration every 4th. Then up to do the makeup for a kids theatre group that has a float in a parade, and onto a private party at a house that will have views of 5 different fireworks displays!
I'm working Sunday afternoon - closing performance of the season. Then a nice dinner with J2 and spending Sunday night and most of Monday in a packing frenzy.

Sorry about your day, DD!
Not to be a (birthday) party pooper, but I'm spending part of Sunday helping to put together a funeral service for a good friend who passed away last night. Hopefully it will be a nice celebration and affirmation of his life - which is what birthdays should be, too!
I have zero plans for the weekend. Hopefully a lot of reading I guess.

Thanks, Q. He's been on life support for over a week. He was a transplant donor and hopefully, there were many successful transfers last night. I like to think about the hopeful, relieved patients that got a call yesterday.
It's nothing serious ... just sometimes it all gets to be too much and I just want to disconnect from it all for a few days. If I could get on a plane and go visit folks and get away for a few days all would be better with the world.

I'm sure a guy has come up with it ... my niece-in-law posted that.
I have a question: does it make sense that of all the plays I'm looking at producing next year, the unpublished one that has only had one major production in the U.S. since it's premiere in 1999 and that I only know about because my friend wrote it, has the most expensive royalties? It's a smaller agency handling the rights, could that be it? My friend wonders why the play isn't produced more ... should I let her know?
Perfect moony! I'm putting in my niece's post.
