Who knew SOMMS was friends with Lebron James.
And, matricide would be in my future if I worked for my mom.
Tink, feel better.

It can get a tad personal, in a bad way, and unprofessional around here at times, but for the most part, it works.
Feel better, Sunshine! MWAH!

Posted: 7/6/10 at 11:57amTinky, feel better soon. We actually had a scare here last week. Guy who works for me came in on Tuesday and left straight away. My boss said that he will be out for awhile until he gets some test results back. My boss did seems concerned, but wouldn't tell me anything else. He said that HR was aware of the situation. Well the guy came back to work on Friday and spilled the beans. They gave his young son a test they should NOT have being he is under the age limit and it came back positive for TB. The doctor of course goes and tells my colleague's wife who goes crazy as any parent would. They asked them all the questions...was he in Asia recently or around anyone who came back from Asia? Of course they find out the doctor shouldn't give a child this young a TB test because it's a false/positive. The child didn't even have any signs of TB and a chest xray would prove it. Stupid...stupid doctors. So luckily it was a false alarm. If it was TB they would have to quarentine anyone the family came into contact with....could you imagine? This would have ruined my party...I would have killed him!!!

I wouldn't mind being quarentined with TB -- Thai Boi's!

Your what? :-P
So, the girl sends me a text telling me there is a gunman on the loose shooting people in her area. I told her it's a sign that it's time to move.
Because it's much safer here.

"some sort of pool boy"
In my experience, it's usually wiser to be a little more specific than 'some sort'
#3636July 6th. Hot as hell and dreaming of pools. And pool boys.
Posted: 7/6/10 at 12:25pm
A tall, well-muscled, well-greased and stunningly handsome pool boy. Perhaps Scandinavian.
Specific enough, Q?

Gunman on the loose eh? Are you sure she's not the one sporting the gun? I mean being far away from the one you love could send a person into a frenzy....frenzy...shooting spree.

Even though it might seem superfluous, given the moniker 'poolboy, I'd probably still add the requirement 'male' - at least here in SoCal

Shames, September isn't too far away!
YWIW and BrotherQ and Q, enjoy! I used to go every year, it's just breathtaking.
I can't wait to be done moving in and done with the catsitting so I can go to my own home and ignore phone calls.

Posted: 7/6/10 at 1:23pmHappy sunny day! This is living in Seattle for you: up until yesterday, temps in the 60s, mostly overcast. 4th of July was chilly and rainy. Suddenly: today is going to hit low 70s and sunny, and by Thursday it will be in the 90s. We're going camping this weekend ... it will be cooler out in the foothills.

I sense more pictures in the future - and the chance for a new desktop photo

I just spent the morning deconstructing the cat condo that Zander used happily until its eventual demise this morning.
Time to buy a new one before he destroys something else!

Q, I almost forgot to mention that I thought of you on July 4th. I was at an old friend's house celebrating and he takes my new phone and downloads a new gay app to find connections in your area. Anyway there was a picture this man posted of himself climbing a rock in the nude. Not sure why, but the 1st person I thought of was you.

LOL, Boobs!
When I lived at the Canyon, it was not uncommon to find me in an out-of-the-way location with my Walkman on dancing naked in the sun. One day, I glanced around and saw I was being filmed by a lovely Japanese man. I still wonder how he explained 'Canyon wildlife' to those back home

Oh Shames, September will be here tomorrow. Then before you know it you'll be trying to figure out how her books fit in your bookcase. It sucks now, but in retrospect, you'll know that it was a blessing to be forced to not rush anything.
When you get to say hello and know that there isn't a goodbye lurking around the corner, all of this stuff won't matter at all.

Ahh, the voice of experience! Thanks, JG!
I can't even fit my books in my bookcases! It's probably time to get rid of some books. But, she left some shorts and tank tops here and that was a very cool feeling.
I know you're right. I'll be fine in a couple of days and starting my next countdown.

"It's probably time to get rid of some books."
Are you still speaking English? My brain doesn't compute that statement.

Posted: 7/6/10 at 3:23pmI know, which is why I have two full bookcases already. But, it might be time for a yard sale. Let someone else give them a new home.
