I see you are back on that high-fat diet.

I just do more to work it off.
I guess we are losing that G-rating.

Wake me when we lose the G-string.
This is what happens when I run amok in here
Ah, that's your calorie-burning secret - running amok.

At this point, I go with whatever works!
Starting a new place from almost scratch is expensive, darnnit! Aside from my extra-special cooking things (whisks, measuring cups, crock-pot), there was nothing for me to take from home, so I've really had to buy a LOT of things. Ikea was good to me today. And I may have bought JG2 and le Swede a yacht, or so it seems.
Lovin' the banter between Q and Hep tonight!
So their Queen comes here today, and I go there tomorrow. Sounds like a fair trade to me.
Good morning freeples!
Deet, dahling, it would take two Lizzie's to be considered an even swap.

She's coming to America? I didn't know that. We lost a Brit yesterday and we gain one today. Must be some kind of quota system.
I have so much to do in the office today and I still want to be on holiday break. I'm laeving early today for my friend's Wake, so I need to get it in gear.
Nope, not in gear yet.

Morning.
Wonder what the 'lost Brit' thought of the heat wave . . .

There's always a heat wave in Florida. She's probably thinking that someone needs to move to England!
Pretty much.
She was fine with the heat as long as she could escape into a nice cool house when she needed to.
She got home about an hour ago. Today sucks.

Soooooo . . . when's the next trip to England?
September 27th.
But, I promise to keep the countdown to myself for awhile.

2 1/2 months - not bad. And you count as long and as loud as you want!
BrotherQ and I have a hot date with YWIW tonight - choral music at the Bowl, with some fireworks!
Morning peeps!
*hugs LS*
Hi B! *hugs*
I think I just had my last good cry on my mom's shoulder. That's one of the best advantages to working for your parents. Well, that and the fact that they ignore it when I exceed my allowable vacation time.

I could never work for my parents. We would have been fighting the whole time. Either you've got better parents, or you're a nicer daughter. Or both.
Awww babe.....just remember there is a light at the end of your tunnel. Don't forget too how lucky you are to have someone that special in your life. Although you don't see her every day, she is there and always will be. You're lucky to have found each other.
I would be an orphan in an orange jumpsuit.
So, I'm heading to Ohio on Thursday for a week of R&R and to celebrate a friends 47th birthday. His party is a night of miniture golf and ice cream at a place called Udders and Putters. Only in Ohio.

Wait - you vacation in the likes of Thailand and you're spending a week of R&R in....Ohio?
Of your own free will?
Said friend bought a true mansion with an indoor pool, in it's own wing. The freakin house has a billiards room, sauna and an elevator. There will be a pool boy and lots of alcohol. So, as they say in Thailand ... same same, but different.
AND I'm not invited poddie?....you know you had me at pool boi
