Last day in London.
I think I'll send J2 to The Tower. I'd rather go to Harrod's.
As I mentioned in other places, we saw ASPECTS OF LOVE at the Menier yesterday. A lovely production of a lovely, if flawed, musical. It benefits from the intimate staging, although those who detested what Trevor Nunn did with A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC will not be pleased; this production could be it's younger sibling, particularly in it's design. And no, Harris, I have no production photos to share.
but that means you are boarding a great big ship soon and that will be well worth it! :)
Morning all!
Sinus congestion is gone but everyone still sounds like they are under water.
Step Gram passed on yesterday evening. It is sad but for the best.
Morning peeps!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Safe flight home Deet!
Tinky, sorry to hear about Step Gram, but you're right she is in a better place now...out of pain and suffering.
Today is 19 years that my Mom left this world. It's a day of me smiling and remembering all of the wonderful memories she gave to everyone who knew her. She was an amazing woman who I wish you all got to know. She would love my Framily.
Mornin'.
And, no doubt we would love her too! Just look at the gift she gave us!
I'm sorry, Sunshine.

'Morning! Deet - I thought you had Tuesday in London, too! Glad to hear about Aspects, though it's not a favorite of mine.
Tink - sorry about her passing, but it sounds like it was her time and I'm sure she lived a full, rich life. We can only hope that the same can be said about yourselves! Obviously, this was the case with Mother BB, though her time was too short. If i learned anything from my friend's passing last week, it's to live each day to the fullest. That and sign up to be an organ donor!
And no one changed the thread title over the weekend? What's up with the weekend shift?
Morning.

Thanks, everyone. **Boobs hugs!**
So how was the weekend?
Weekend was excellent! Got to see my insane family that I haven't seen in a while. It was nice catching up with all of them and their dramas. Yesterday had a BBQ/pool party with some old friends and got to meet some new people. It was a perfect day.

Q, did your mail arrive yet? Perhaps there will something in it to make you smile.
Sorry about your step-gram Tink.
Q, if you were an orphan, then there would be no fabulous Brother Q - life is full of trade-offs, and you at least got the good end of that deal!
And Boobs, my dad's 6th year is coming up, and it does get easier to remember the good things as each year passes. All I know is that she had to be freaking fantastic to be your mom.
D2 - I will look for reports of a Tazmanian Devil in Harrods shopping with a frenzy not seen on this earth! Safe and smooth travels home.
Happy Monday Adults.
*hugs YWIW* I hope your day is great!
Today should be a good mail day.
LOL Moony! I was so lost. The non-shopper that I am, kept wanting to go to the store all weekend!

It feels like ages since I visited last. Work got busy last week, go figure! Weekend was good busy - you can see the pix of the hike on fb. Not that challenging of a hike but OMG, the payoff was amazing. The colors looked like we were seeing them through a filter. Thought of Q often, especially whilst we caught our breath in the cold water. Next time we're hiking up to the waterfalls.

Q has devoured each and every pic, DD - and even used a couple as desktop photos
So happy to hear that, Q! The only thing that would make them better would be sharing the moment with you.
Love it, moony. I would do the same.

". . . sharing the moment with you."
That would be part of the 'perfect world' scenario I sometimes fantasize about.

That cracked me up, Q.
Harris, are we still celebrating your birthday?
Sweet DQ!! I must check out the pics. You always have such pretty ones.

Wait, what did girly bedazzle?
And, I see Zander has a furrier twin. (He actually did knock down the dry cat food and start eating it - even though he had a full bowl of it already waiting).
