Good morning peeples. Waiting for the electric company to appear. Last night I blessed my neighbors with four police cars and three fire engines from 10:30 to 11:00. Nope, not one of my imfamous parties -- electricity was arcing wildly on my roof where the line connects to my house from the street. My neighbor said it was a damn good fireworks display! Thank goodness he was just coming home and saw it. No fire, but also no explanation. I'm so popular in the neighborhood right now, I'm sure.
PS. Three VERY cute police officers. Yes, sir!

Back. Sort of.
1) My car was hit the night before we left for vacation so I have to deal with insurance companies and body shop estimates today.
2) I lost a credit card and my ATM card while on vacation so I'm headed to the bank to pick up a temprary replacement.
3) I managed to walk into an iron hanging flower basket in a charming town in Maine and the resulting gash isn't healing well, so I need to see my doctor.
4) Our home lost electricity for 3 days during the big DC storm and I have to replace all the food we lost.
5)During my week-long absence, my IT didn't reconnect my computer or phone lines in my new office so I'm "borrowing" a coworkers's desk to check messages and trying to call the aforementioned insurance company, body shop, doctor and IT department (emails and FB will have to wait).
Yes, it's clear that vacation is over. BUT......
Rhode Island and Maine were gorgeous, I'm getting over my virus (gave it to hubby), we had great weather, we missed 3 days without power and we had safe journeys. Life is (somewhat) good.
Back later, when I have my own computer.

I had an insane Friday in NYC with the work peeps. Almost quit at one point, but was convinced out of it, lol. Everyone else enjoyed so I guess in the end that was the purpose.
I love these Brits but I am not upset most are leaving this week. I can't do another weekend, lol.

Funny LS being my friend said the same thing yesterday. Seems after his EX (who was from the U.K and could put them away...still does btw) broke up, his liver and body have healed and he can't drink like that anymore. He hated waking up with a hangover. I told him that is because he grew up and realizies he can't do it and it's not good to do to his body. I laughed when he told me that he thought perhaps his ex has a drinking problem. I was like.."um yea, he's an alcoholic"

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
