Strangely enough, Boobs, the one person I did remain in contact with (at least until she got married and we lost touch in the mid-80s) is the one who is now crazy. We reconnected in March and had a phone conversation about a month ago. Someone I remember as being bright, fun and carefree is now a raging alcoholic, facing liver failure, divorcing her husband and looking forward to living in a trailer for the rest of her life. It was very, very sad, and made me grateful that my life hasn't turned out so bad after all.

Now I'm going for coffee.

It is sad Deet. BUT at our age we should be able to decide who we want in our lives and who we don't. I need to keep negative and insane people away from me no matter how much they keep trying to get back into my life....speaking of....where did Girly disappear to?

Quick hi and bye! I still have no working computer or phone lines. went to the Post Office to pick up the m,ail that had been held last week and they couldn't find it. "Um...maybe you didn't get any mail" said the clerk. They called this morning - found a bundle at a sub station. It continues......

Double D - a class a couple of years ahead of me had their 30 year reunion and I looked at some of the unofficial gatherings and swore that it looked like something straight out of Deliverance.

And, I swear, that trailer is a double wide, and it will fit the cats just fine.

Tinky, I finished Season 2 last Wednesday and then ordered HBO, so that I could watch Season 3. Funny thing is Cablevision had a promotion and so I am getting HBO and paying less than when I didn't have it....go figure...LOL.

That's awesome Boobs. I pay for Netflix & Tivo already so I can't justify the HBO expense too. Even though I watch ALOT of TV that is even too much lol.

I did finally sign up for the Optimum Rewards this week, so tonight I will go see my first free movie at the theaters. What to see.....

I saw Inception on Saturday with the Brits. A pretty good movie but i was not over the moon with it.

Took the afternoon off. Stopped at the Pandora store at the mall near work and Foodtown to pick up the crackers for the
