I'm trying to figure out my neighbor. This older guy moved in over the winter, so haven't seen him much. We seem to leave the same time in the morning, so it's been a quiet hello to each other. Every day when he leaves, he walks around his car and looks at the tires. In the winter, he used a flashlight since it's still dark at the time. I just went in the kitchen and saw him come out, walk around the car looking at the tires before leaving. He was also wearing black gloves and a beret. Does he think someone is going to puncture his tires every night?

PJ, this guy was!! Black gloves, too. I'm sure they're driving gloves, but I couldn't stand to wear them when it's warm out. Maybe he's a frustrated Indy driver. The car is an older Firebird or Camaro. I haven't looked closely enough at it to figure it out.

Mamie, maybe he has had issues where he lived previously. Maybe the tires are old, and need to be replaced. I'm almost to the point where I'm ready to ask him why he does this, but I'm not there quite yet.
