I ended up just walking through the Mall. Not much time to do much at the Smithsonian - something about having too much fun yakking at lunch
I did go up to the top of the old post office tower to look around.
My phone ran out of 'juice,' so I couldn't even access Dottie's phone number - so we didn't end up connecting (my one dark spot to the day
)
And I did end up returning at 8pm. I just decided I'd rather save the exploration til I can share it with my TinMan.

Makes sense. It's more fun seeing things when you have someone to share it with.

I thought of something even shorter, but it would get the thread deleted.

I thought of that a while ago. I couldn't even pretend to spell it out.

I like him. Can we keep him?
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be enbered with your old nonsense. ~ Emerson

He's only paper trained, Shamey. How many newspapers do you get each day?

Well, I'll have to see a picture before I can commit to that.

Better grab your binoculars while you're at it.

We're discussing the fate of Cosmo, our new thread starter.
Speaking of cosmos, what are we drinking today?

I started to second guess myself, but Miller Lite is my other favorite.

hehe. I yelled at my mom today. I was in the mood for a nice cold beer when I got home last night. So I went the fridge and it was empty. She drank all of them (over the course of 2 weeks, not in one night lol) and never put news ones in (which were only a few feet away). So I scolded her today and she was all confused like "My daughter is yelling at me for drinking her beer, there is something wrong with this picture" lol. Ok it was funny to me at least.

Sometimes, you have to crack that whip. My mom is pretty well-trained at this point.
