Frogs are French Canadians, Tink. That would be me and my cousin, SOMMS. Both SOMMS and I look very Anglo, but my daughter - cute as she is - looks like she could be a native Quebecois (as do my brother and sister). Thanks, Mom and Dad.

Technically Buzz is Canadian. His father was born on Canadian soil (two of his aunts were born in concentration camps, and then they all escaped and found refuge in Canada, where his Dad was born, then they migrated down to good ol' NJ).

I'm Irish on one side and German on the other. All the men in the family - on both sides - had large, distinguished proboscis. The women's were all pretty normal. I ended up about half way between the two - not large enough to worry about but not small enough to be stylish.

I didn't actually start resembling my family until much later on in life (damnit! I was so happy and then it was all ruined). Although my brother has looked like a spitting image of my father from first moment. It is quite freaky actually.

Why are the same people who are rightly chastizing SweetQ for her insensitve and inappropriate thread ridiculing African American speech patterns remaining silent on Sueleen's insentive and inappropriate use of an avatar that caracitures a stereotyped African American male?

Why do the moderators allow both of these racially insenstive and inappropriate elements to remain?

Why does BWW do a terrific job of advertising Hairspray which preaches racial tolerance yet sees no connection between that and the insensitivity and intolerance that fills this off topic message board?

I really AM not with it today, aren't I? Tink it's your fault! You reference not wanting to ask something on another thread, and I think that confused me. Okay, it's not your fault. It's not taking much to confuse me today.

Am I right in that SweetQ's thread got deleted, or am I missing that one?

I just realized I've been sitting here with VH1 on for the last 1/2 hour. I'm not sure why. BonJovi's on right now, and I do so love to look at Richie, so I'll leave it for now.
