Thanks boobsy - but I can't have anything but clear liquids today. I just sipped a little vegetable broth and then discovered that it was a no no. You can't see through it so you can't drink it.
I made some juice popsicles and some jello last night and then I forgot them and left them at home. If things are quiet here today I might take off early. I'm not a big fan of sweet drinks and just swallowing fruit juice and water is not very satisfying.
Oooh Oooh - I just remembered that GIN is clear!!!!

Anyone have any ideas on what to get a gentleman who is celebrating his 80th birthday? He has no hobbies other than the Lyons Club and the Seniors, and basically just drives his wife to whereever it is she wants to go. His kids are throwing a casual party on Saturday at a place in town, and I'm at a loss as to what to get him.
I have had suggestions of a respirator/oxygen and Depends, but I'm kinda thinking I'd stay away from those ideas.
