Nothing could be as bad as the 20 Japanese tourists I encountered at the mall yesterday at the entrance to Banana Republic. They all stood blocking the door while one tried to translate Banana -- GIGGLES -- half walked in and the other half did an in/out dance at the entrance for three minutes. I finally just pushed my way through and embraced being an "ugly american".

Well... we have a reputation to uphold, SOMMSy!
We made the mistake of picking a restaurant for dinner Saturday night right in the middle of the tourist district... took us forever to find a parking spot. But dinner - and definitely company - was worth it.
