I believe the outcome is fait accompli but you never know! Should be 6-3. Maybe one of the three idiots join based on the previous decision?

No he's not. Had the law been written properly, it would never have gone before the Supreme Court this time. But it was rushed through and cobbled together by a bunch of arrogant jerks (both Republican and Democrat) who couldn't care less whether you live or die.

Rachel Maddow played some interesting clips from the oral arguments that I hadn't heard yet. Among them, Alito going off on a tangent with Mary Bonauto about whether or not Plato enjoyed gay sex, Michigan lawyer John Bursh arguing that gay marriage would lead to more out of wedlock children (and promptly being shut down by Sotomayor), and then Kennedy cutting in to the out of wedlock children argument to declare that if it were up to Michigan, it would be very difficult for gay couples to adopt all these out of wedlock children (and stating flatly "your premise is wrong.").
