"That would have never occured to me"
That must be the difference between an 'o' and an 'a' - because I think 'cake' must always be on your mind somehow/somewhere/some way
Moony, I read it somewhere once and then a colleague confirmed it for me.

Well, cake is a cure-all when used internally. I'd kill anyone who wasted cake by smearing it on a driveway.
Then I'd try to scoop up the leftovers.
Joy.
I've had a hunch for a while but it was confirmed - my boss is leaving at end of month. More restructuring. Get to learn, yet again, what my "new role" will be in a few minutes.
I give you all permission to shoot me if I do not have my updated resume out there by end of night and start actively searching.
Tinky, good luck! BTW would whipping be okay? Not really into guns.

I feel your pain, Tink. My new boss started yesterday and we've been going through an administrative restructuring for the past month. I STILL haven't been told what I'm doing in this new configuration and she's cancelled two meetings with me, and I'm trying hard to avoid reading something into that, but these are desperate times!

perhaps there's one in there to rid your new boss, Moony!
Anything that can scrub your toilet and de-gunk your engine isn't going past my lips.
I also have a new (interim) boss, but she's was once a collegue and I like her, so all is good.

Naturally, the tip I like best is the one about soaking raisins in coke.
I'm just so tired of asking to "dig in for a while just to get the changes completed" I've never stopped digging in 3 years, and it has gotten me no where. I'm done. So done.
BTW Framily...I am on a mission...I am asking my Family, friends and Framily not to buy anything that this Momster should try to sell. No books...movies...TV shows...nothing that will financially help her. Perhaps a jury found her "not guilty", but we all know better.

I think it's safe to say that we're all in agreement about that, Boobs!
Tink, I feel your pain. Where I work, the only thing constant is change, and the lost of historical/institutional knowledge is pretty darn frightening.
My job is pretty safe, but sometimes you wonder whether it is worth it ...
And, add Nancy Grace to that "No Buy" list. She is a heinous excuse of a human being. Somewhere, there is a mob just waiting for her.
Thanks Moony *mwah*
Has anyone watched "United States of Tara"? I love Toni Collette and so a friend bought me Seasons 1 & 2 of this series. I can't wait to watch it.
I've seen a few episodes, but since I don't have Showtime I didn't see many. It's been canceled.
Yes a colleague just told me they cancelled it. At least if I like it I only have to buy 1 more season.
I'm glad I got mine...

Count me in!
Thanks mom! Sad that people will support her!
I saw a couple of episodes of Tara, it must've been one of those free Showtime weekends.
Summer has finally arrived in the Great Pacific Northwest. 80s, sunny, and glorious out. Of course I get to got into tech rehearsal for a show that opens Friday.
Morning peoples!
Company meeting at 10 to discuss all the changes should be highly entertaining. ugh.

Best of luck on that score, Tink. Let us know how it goes.

Morning peeps! I hope everyone is well this lovely morning. You know the saying "when it rains, it pours!" That seems to be happening to me this month. I am waiting for AAMCO to call me with the news of my poor baby who seems to have problems with her transmission. My neighbors are probably wondering what is going on...Tuesday night Bb2's car is towed from my driveway and last night mine was towed. Good times!

Boobs, I don't think you need to worry about what the neighbors think . . . unless they start to notice the body bags
