Tink, we owe you. Aigner was fantastic, a real find. J2 is talking about going again! Don't tell Harris, but I had the most delicious Veal Dumplings -- dense, yet also very light. And oh so tasty!
Q, I really haven't shopped all that much -- there's not much here that I can't get in NYC for less. So far, all I've purchased is one kitschy, polished metal replica of the Brandenburg Gate.
Tomorrow we're taking a day trip to Leipzig, and on Friday we've gotten passes to the Reichstag.

I'm not a shopper, so I depend on friends to live vicariously
I'll remember that and call you the next time I go to Lord & Taylor, Q.
D2!!! I'm grinning from ear to ear! So happy the guide didnt steer you wrong. I am living vicariously! :)
Other one they list on that block area -
Borchardt - which it lists as offering a fashionable ambiance and is a hotspot for celebrities. It has a 1920's-ish feel with high ceilings and plush seating. Specializing in German-French food and says it offers the finest fish, veal and beef in the city.
For shopping - did you try Department Store 206? It says it is the place to find the newest and trendiest German fashions. It is 3 blocks away. The basement is listed as having a terrific food department for a snack lunch.
ok I'm putting the map away now. lol
I've been to the food hall at 206, but not the men's department. Yet.
Borchardt is already on J2's list, as is Gendarmerie, another restaurant from the same owner, also nearby.

OK, 82 degrees at 7:15am is a bit much. It'll reach 100 here today, higher temps tomorrow. Heat index of 115. Time to head for Maine, where it will be in the mid 70s next week. YES!
Good hot, sticky morning!
Hola!
I've been seeing commercials for some fall shows that seem interesting. I hope Addy plans on sharing the scoop on the fall schedule.

Nah, I got caught in a loooooong meeting. I like the daughter much better than the mother. She doesn't sing.
I wrote into her and asked if she good do a lullabye of "Loving You" to the baby on the show.
