SoMMS, I'm working on a lyric (for what, I don't know) that includes the following:

"I'm done with plotzing over platzes, and stressing crossing strasses..."

They give you barely five seconds to get across a street here. It can be terrifying when you see that streetcar bearing down on you.

But it is true that no one jay walks, everybody waits for the light to change before crossing the street even when there is no traffic in either direction, no one texts while walking and the bicyclists OBEY THE TRAFFIC LAWS!

SOMMSY...that email was sent way before I mentioned "me" time....which I still won't have for a couple of more weeks. Plus "me" time just means being in my house...anyone can come and play with me there.

Yes, I can see the Galleries Lafayette from the window, Tink. Went there yesterday, as a matter of fact. I've walked past the Guggenheim a couple of times, but haven't gone in yet - I'm waiting for J2 to be free so we can go together. And I'll look up that restaurant. We're going to a place called "Cookie's Creme" tonight - it's supposed to be terrific. It's around the corner from the hotel.

Next Week is Employee Appreciation Week. Monday the entire LA office is going to LA Live (about 5 blocks away) to watch Captain America. Tuesday/Wednesday we are doing lunch at the ESPN Zone.

But, no gift cards for beef!
