First night home for dinner in I don't know how long. What am I doing? Visiting bww.
Finally have a full cast for The Gene Pool. Very excited. Now to do the saddest thing - send the "no thank you" notes to those that came to callbacks.
DD, hand me that dictionary.
No, the big thick, heavy one. And the thesaurus.
Thank you.
*whomps Harris on the head with them*
Mornin'
Date night tonight! Going to, well, you know where. Beef. It's what's for dinner!
I live vicariously through your Friday night date night. Yummyness!!!
Good morning, all!
My thought for the day (with love to Moony and Addy): The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

I had to think about that one for a moment - but it's TRUE!
Deet - I love your date nights. Hubby and I are always so beat by Friday night that we fall asleep in fron of the TV every week.
So sadly, the Moonchild will not be touring Kleinfeld's with her friend tomorrow. She's been battling a sinus infection all week and woke up with pinkeye this morning. Porr kid - timing was never her strong suit. Sucks to be her.
Oh, and....good morning!
Good morning! Happy Friday. So glad to put this week to rest.
Big St Patty's day parades around here all weekend, I'm trying to get out of my anti social funk and attend the craziness. We shall see.
Morning peeps! Crazy work week, but extra crazy Friday..I hardly say this, but I could use a drink! *runs back to work*
*the sad cows bring cocoa and ice for this bump on my head *
LOL!
(great post!)
Moony, sorry about the Moon-child. Hope she feels better. BUMMER!
Somms, hilarious.
Saw 'Peter and the Starcatcher' last night. LOVE! Wonderful evening with the cast and creative team.
I don't really want to be a grown-up today.
I won't grow up,
(I won't grow up)
I don't want to go to school.
(I don't want to go to school)
Just to learn to be a parrot,
(Just to learn to be a parrot)
And recite a silly rule.
(And recite a silly rule)
If growing up means
It would be beneath my dignity to climb a tree,
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!
Not I,
Not me!
Not me!
I won't grow up,
(I won't grow up)
I don't want to wear a tie.
(I don't want to wear a tie)
And a serious expression
(And a serious expression)
In the middle of July.
(In the middle of July)
And if it means I must prepare
To shoulder burdens with a worried air,
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me,
Not I,
Not me!
So there!
Never gonna be a man,
I won't!
Like to see somebody try
And make me.
Anyone who wants to try
And make me turn into a man,
Catch me if you can.
I won't grow up.
Not a penny will I pinch.
I will never grow a mustache,
Or a fraction of an inch.
'Cause growing up is awfuller
Than all the awful things that ever were.
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up,
No sir,
Not I,
Not me,
So there!
I won't grow up!
(I won't grow up)
I will never even try
(I will never even try)
I will do what Peter tells me
(I will do what Peter tells me)
And I'll never ask him why
(And I'll never ask him why)
We won't grow up!
(We won't grow up)
We will never grow a day
(We will never grow a day)
And if someone tries to make it
(And if someone tries to make it)
We will simply run away
(We will simply run away)
I won't grow up!
(I won't grow up)
No, I promise that I won't
(No, I promise that I won't)
I will stay a boy forever
(I will stay a boy forever)
And be banished if I don't!
(And be banished if I don't)
And Never Land will always be
The home of youth and joy and liberty
I'll never grow up, never grow up, never grow up
Not me!
Not me!
Not me!
Not me!
No sir!
Not me!
That's my theme song today!
Addy, should we get out the Easy Bake oven? I could use a little cake with my coffee today.

Morning Adults! Mom's party was a hit (though a little crowded). I got some pictures of her dancing with the Belly Dancer (again, I am my father's daughter).
Off to Hollywood in a bit for an early lunch and then the Paramount tour.

So two out of three say that the morning is good. I'll keep that in mind. There were bluebrry scones in the faculty room for breakfast this morning, so I'll join thwe chorus of "good".
Good.
ahhhh, gotta love the outlook for your day/week when the first meeting you sit in is just a rehash of how many coworkers/vendors f'd up royally all weekend. Just the sunshiney perspective you need to have hope on Monday morning. And all I do is sit back and laugh. What else can ya do?
Morning peeps! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. It's nice having blue skies today after that rain yesterday. I couldn't see the lines on the GSP driving home from a friend's house last night.

Yeah, I got caught on our Beltway during the worst of it yesterday. Couldn't see the cars in front or on the sides and couldn't pull off on the shoulder, either. Scary stuff.
Which is why I decided not to venture out at all yesterday.
It WAS the perfect day to stay in. It took all of my strength to get off of my couch, espeiically since my sciatica it flaring up with this weather. I am not sure how I made it through dinner with my friend in the pain I was in. I did my best to hide it. Her sister just passed away at 60 yeas old and I didn't want to seem like a wimp with a couple of aches and pains.
