OH! Right before the second act began, the voice (no body in sight on stage) of the lovely that starts the first act came over the sound system, asking for the woman in S102 to please stand. The woman stood and was looking around confused. Then the voice announced that she won a $700 Manolo Blahnik gift certificate and to pick it up at the merchandise stand after the show.

This is where I admit my latest obsession -- reruns of Sex and the City. I watch two episodes every night from 8 to 9 and then the marathons on the weekends. Spring needs to get here FAST!

Manolo Blahnik designed a shoe for the show. The Priscilla folks are running a contest. If you're attending a show after the 15th, you can submit a shoe design to win a gift certificate for the same amount. I've seen them posting about it on my FB and Twitter newsfeeds. I guess if you're attending a show prior to that, they pick a seat number to win one. I don't know if they do it every night. I'll have to ask the boys, since they seem to be attending the show often.

ETA: BD, are you sure you're really gay?


ETA #2: I just checked. From whenever the contest started, at every preview show through March 14, they are picking one winner. Or you can design one, send them a pic, they'll post it to their FB wall and the one with the most "likes" will win. That's up to March 16.
