Moony, the way my day has been going what's up is down and what's down is up.....either way we would have been there
Saying prayers for Moon Sister.
Moony, I send my thoughts, my prayers and my hugs.
Boobs, I love chicken soup. I do a pretty mean chicken stock. Does that count?
Good thoughts for the Moon Sister.
This day is taking F O R E V E R . . .
Adding to the moon sister good wishes and SOMMSy condolences.
I *hated* Jane Eyre-the Musical I saw a couple of years ago, but I have never liked the story so it figures. I also know _for sure_ that I am not a Gilbert & Sullivan fan. Saw Ruddigore yesterday, and while folks are raving about the production I was bored to tears.
Tomorrow I see the new Peter Mill's (Illyria) musical at Village Theatre.
ETA: the musical is called Iron Curtain.

Same here, cuz! My bag is packed, though. I fly out to Chicago this eveing, coming back Thursday afternoon. Just trying to get a million and one things tied up here before I head out.
Good morning, all!
Morning peeps! The sun is shining here in beautiful New Jersey...I'm enjoying it while I can being they are expecting more rain tomorrow and Thursday. I feel badly for those people who are still trying to get back into their homes since the last rain storm. Mother Nature is really pissed lately. I wonder if it's menapause?
The men all paused when she walked into the room. Now I'll have that damn song stuck in my head all day. Tanks.

The highway was closed yesterday by my job (and all the back routes) so ANYONE coming east had to detour through the main road by my office. I didnt bother leaving the office until 6:30 and it still took me 1/2 hour to go 1 block. I decided to turn around, head west and go up by cousins for a few hours. Luckily, this morning they opened the highway back up. Still a lot of people & businesses still under water. I have lived in this area my entire life (at one point we lived in a house where the river was directly in our backyard) and I have never seen it this bad. yikes.
Morning.
Stopped by the new place last night - the painting is done and looks fab. New counter is in. All that needs to be done is the stove hooked up, toilet/sink installed, and cleaning/polishing of floors and its all mine!!!!

Wow - they rebuilt the place just for you? Do insist on that toilet and sink!
You do need the toilet...it stinks when they just give you a bucket and you have to keep emptying it.
Beware The Ides Of March...
Sounds great, Tink.
My cellmate informed that she feels like her ovaries are going to burst. I'm not sure what she wants me to do with that news, so thought I'd share it with y'all.

Girly, you better go purchase a baseball glove/bat in case they decide to fly across the room.
Moony - sorta. The couple in the apartment before me were there for 15 years, so it has never been renovated. So the appliances et al needed to be upgraded. But since my cousin runs the complex (i take all the perks I can get, lol) she made sure everything was a bit nicer than it would have been. So the super told me that since they were going to have to paint anyway, if i dropped off the paint I wanted, they would do it for me.
I have brand new kitchen floors/counters/backsplash tiling, new bathroom floor, toilet, sink, outlets, vanity/lighting. And they added some more outlets in places I asked. oh and a new AC.
I am soooo ready for the move. My furniture wont move until next sat, but this weekend I will start bringing over boxes, etc.

That's really exciting! A home of your own - again!
Tinky, let me know if you need anything....you never know what is in the garage at Case de Boobs. I'm sure there is kitchen stuff I don't need that I brought back from Singapore. I'm trying to simplify my life now, so come on down!!!
lol, I will def let you know Boobs, but fortunately/unfortunately, I don't really need anything. I have the full contents of the 2 bedroom apartment I used to have at my moms this whole time. So yay, I didnt have to spend money, but boo, I've had nothing to do for these past few weeks lol. And alot of it needs to be purged. Chris was a kitchen gadget addict and also never said no when someone offered him something, no matter how pointless it was lol. The only things I know I need to buy are a kitchen table (I'm letting my mom keep my former one), coffee table and lamps. But I want to get everything moved in first before I buy anything.
Tinky, I have a kitchen table in there...LOL. I LOVE it. I had it in my Townhouse, but had no where to put it here. I refuseds to get rid of it though. It was Potterybarn. It's rectangle, so I don't know if that could work for you. The only thing you would have to buy is chairs for it being I gave those to another friend of ours. Let me know if you're interested.
Hiya -
Somms, I wasn't here yesterday, so didn't get a chance to send my condolences. I'm sorry to hear your sad news.
Moony, I'm glad everything worked out with the plans to be there for your sis. Good thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
Tink, what a great new start. Sounds like it will be wonderful!
Girly, that made me laugh out loud.
A friend is leaving for his first trip to Paris today. I was sending him some info/suggestions last night, and got in a Parisian-state-of-mind. So I decided to pull together a few photos from my last visit. *le sigh* I could so use a dose of la vie en rose right about now.
I'll just pretend.
Mornin'
Safe travels, Moony!
Congratulations, Tink!
Addy, go to Paris. Now. That's an order!
Tink, congratulations! I'm so excited for you.
Moony - thinking good thoughts.
I could definitely use a trip to Paris right about now. Deet, wanna go?
Hey Kids!
Yesterday got away from me and I never popped in.
Somms, I'm very sorry for your loss. Moony, I haven't read the sister news, but you know I'm always thinking good thoughts for you and yours. Hugs and kisses for both of you.
Purge, BB, purge! It feels surprisingly good! LOL!
Yay, Tink! So what colors did you go with?
Morning LS *hugs* Yes, purge...I am purging. I am on a mission!
I'm imagining that Tink used colors like: In the Gutter Grey, Pinky Pink and the Bean Beige, Liquor Cabinet Black and Free at Last Fuschia.
You forgot Sunshine Yellow!
