Mornin'
Girly, you're an evil genius, you know that, don't you?
OMG! Well, I won't be living in Newcastle city limits, I don't have testicles and my fiancee isn't a biter, so I should be safe.
Damn, how disgusting is that!
TGIF!!!!
BTW, everyone, since we know that Girly doesn't like to fly and we all want to visit Shamey, I looked into the QM2 crossings for the fall - there's an eastbound sailing to Southampton on Friday, October 7, arriving the following Thursday, October 13. Fares are pretty affordable, too.
Getting Girly back to the states might be problematic, but I'd make the sacrifice and stay a little longer to sail back with her in early November.
Who's in?
Morning peeps!
Dett...count me in!
BTW does anyone know of a good place for coffee/dessert close to the Palace theatre? I'm looking for a place to meet up with friends tomorrow night.
Also in! I've got a darling new pinafore that I've been saving for the right occassion. Captains table, per chance?

I'm blocking out the dates, Deet! Exciting!!! I will have to fly back, though. We're going to England, y'all!
Anyone who tried to facebook someone they are interviewing with is an idiot. Linked In? ok. Facebook? no, just no.
Morning. No hungover peeps that is a good thing. I laughed at all the girls last night at the bar drinking their green beer that then had green lips, teeth and tongue the rest of the night. heh.
Hmmmm, I am free that date range. I was already plotting...I mean planning to land a sugardaddy this summer just for the purpose of paying for me to go to England in Oct/Nov, so it all fits nicely.
I start moving things in tonight :)
Bedroom first. Just sayin'.
We're all going to have to take Geordie lessons. There are two festivals in Newcastle in October -- the Design Event festival—an annual festival providing the public with an opportunity to see work by regional, national and international designers and the SAMA Festival, an East Asian cultural festival is also held in early October.
Congrats, Tink!
Girly, the return sailing leaves Southampton on Thursday, November 10 and gets to New York a week later, Thursday, November 16. Save those vacation days.

Can we book the hotel at a group rate since we're all going? Shamey - any good suggestions for a local hotel?
Yeah, we stayed at a really nice hotel in Edinburgh. I can't think of the name, but the girl will know. Let me check.
The Malmaison in Newcastle looks perfect for us!

I'll be squatting in a nearby Castle (not literally). cause that's how I roll.
Hmmm - were talking to friends about a trip to Scotland and Ireland this fall - perhaps things can be moved around.
On another note, I really want to see Book of Mormon and Priscella. Sometimes I hate living so far away. I am going to have to find a way to see them, even if I am not there!

Malmaison? Doesn't that mean "bad house" in French? No wonder it appeals to you!
How many days do I need to save for this adventure?
I just watched Priscilla's first performance from The Today Show. I want to go back!

For those sky-watcher among us, there will be a "super full moon" on Saturday night! This hasn't happened in 18 years. I wonder if this is "Cosmo's moon" from "Moonstruck"?

Full moon on Saturday night...Priscilla will really be rockin'!!! Thanks for all your help on the coffee places near the palace....I bet you all could tell me of a good coffee houses in Newcastle though
I'm allergic to coffee so I wouldnt be of much assistance there
Just go up to the lounge at the Marquis. You can get coffee there, and it won't be too noisy, either.

Boobsie, there is a Starbucks on Broadway just up from the Palace on 51st, I think.
The problem with Starbucks is there's hardly ever any available space to sit. Sometimes you luck out, but...
