Sorry, I had gone out and I can't access BWW on my new phone - it doesn't recognize my password so I can't log in.
There really aren't any good dessert type places in the Theatre District, surprisingly. Mostly restaurants w/dessert menus, and hotels w/ restaurants/bars. Starbucks might be the best alternative. Usually J2 and I leave the area after seeing a show if we want to go out for a non-Starbucks dessert experience.
Here are all the Starbucks in the general vicinity of the Palace:

I like Pigalle.
I'm thinking how far they go location wise, will depend on how tired one of them is.

Posted: 3/18/11 at 12:11pmDessert at Pigalle, after the show, is always delightful. As is brunch before a show.

Posted: 3/18/11 at 1:53pmThey live with Harris. I doubt they could be corrupted any more than they already are. there's a reason they produce lemonade, not milk.

LOL! Yeah, Tink and I managed to find the only 20 block stretch of Manhattan without a coffee shop of any kind. We did stumble upon a cool pub though.

Posted: 3/18/11 at 2:03pmI think my friend and I must've stumbled upon that same stretch. It was about 3:00 in the morning, and there was nothing open and no one around! We couldn't figure out what had happened to the 'city that never sleeps'!!

I made Chris walk about 80 blocks once at like 1:30 in the AM becasue I was convinced someplace with a bathroom HAD to be open on the next block. One block turned into 80. stupid boy lol.
And I would like to state the fact, that yes Pinky & I are naturally drawn to drinking establishments, I don't think either of us drank alcohol and we were at that bar for like 2 hours watching the game.

Posted: 3/18/11 at 2:21pmI made the mistake of walking down 10th from Lincoln Center to Hell's Kitchen one night at 2 in the morning. NOTHING open -- I've never walked so fast.

Posted: 3/18/11 at 2:47pmIsn't that the way it always is? It's like I found something the other day in my house and thought to myself "so that's where it's been" I left it where I found and now I need it and don't remember where I found it LOL

Posted: 3/18/11 at 2:53pmOn another note, pondering an East Coast summer trip. I *know* - heat. I also know that I'm _sick_ of this weather we're having and want to time a trip to the beach with my sister. I've never been to NYC in August. Bad idea?

DD, it depends on what kind of an August we're having. Compared to Singapore they're like Spring
