Roll 'n Rye - local deli with Great Matzo Ball Soup - may be a wee bit far for Shira, unless she is visiting her folks!

And the plumber window is 2-5, phone company 4-8.

Phone jack has dialtone but no DSL, so I am hoping my wirepro payments will fix that one...

My handyman came at 9:30 to show me the leak that we just discovered that is causing a real mess - it is under the house and has corroded my furnace box.

Looks like I am gong to have to put my evil lawyer hat because either this was here and the inspector missed it, or it is covered under my home warranty.

It looks pretty ugly...

UGH - BTW - pickles, who wants pickles.

Sorry to hear about your home woes, you. I truly dislike DSL and would have cable internet if we had cable in the house I live in.

Well, the plumbing stuff was just a fluke - I was looking into putting a tub/washbasin in the garage, and my handyman went under the house to see if the plumbing would support it - he then went "uh oh" and gave me a call.

The bad part is that the dirt has been wet and setting up against a sheet metal box that houses the furnace vents/tubes, and he fears that the rust may have eaten through the box if we start removing the dirt - that is the scary part...

But, I am going to think positive thoughts - the rust is just cosmetic, and it can be fixed relatively easily. If not, on comes the evil black hat that I keep for special cases when I need to be the evil lawyer.

And, not to be suggestive, but a crunchy dill pickle - delicious!

The DSL is OK. It is pretty inexpensive, so I have no complaints - I just want this jack to work!

I have memories of when we had the house, and got home after one particular storm and the entire daylight basement was wet ...

Yeah, pickles and I don't get along so well. I've tried ...

Just throwing it out there - we might be in O.C. in early March, and I've already told jS I will be spending time in LA.

LOVE cucumbers. At this restaurant we went to, they put a cucumber slice in your water instead of lemon. SO good.

Well, it may involve suing the Inspector - and his damages are capped at $5,000. I don't think it will cost that much, and I don't think the former owners knew about it.

I hate being the mean attorney - if I am lucky, the home warranty will cover it.

Well, there was talk of a field trip to have matzo ball soup with Shira, Shameless had to leave for the evening, DD does not like pickles, but does like cucumbers, I am bitching about the perils of home ownership, and hep is bragging about his weather.

I think that is the general gist.

actually no, our director adapted and composed music for the show himself. it was basically a bunch of little dylan thomas like vignettes based on the story itself.
