Rain rain go away...
Was just reading back: Q, for reasonse we can't always articulate or understand there are some events (passings) in life which touch us more than others, and make us pause to think about the journey. Mr. Newman's passing was certainly one of those moments for me.
For many reasons, it was a profound sadness, and this passing was a moment which made me want to just stop the march of time.
Hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was full.
Howdy.
I'm about 90% moved out/in. I've got my room at my mom's pretty set up so at least I feel somewhat settled for the moment. Trying to look for positive attributes of all that is going on I have found that not living with someone frees up so much closet and drawer space. My shoes have so much room to breathe, lol.
Oh and I have realized that I have SOOOOOO many clothes, but yet as I was going through them all I realized that I don't really like any of them anymore. I think Tink could use a good retail therapy adventure soon. That and I am so making a spa day date for some point this month. That is a must. I don't think I have ever ached both physically and emotionally in my whole life.
Oh and I told my Mom that she better get used to it cause after moving all that crap, I ain't going anywhere for a long time lol. I think she had a moment of doubt with this decision lol.
MotorTink,
You deserve a WEEK at a spa resort if you ask me! XOOO
How is mom?
Oh, and do we have any word yet from Girly? Is she MIA because she crashed the cast party at John's Pizzeria????
Well a week would be great but I'll settle for a day right noww, lol.
Mom is doing well. Getting back to the routine with work and all.
That is amazing! Good for her. And you.
Please email me your new address when you get a chance, okay?
CBC gave me a "Day at the Red Door" for Mother's Day (in 2007!) and I have yet to use it. I really need to take your lead and do so. It makes such a huge difference, it's almost unreal!
I'm guessing that is a local spa by you?
Chris gave me a spa day last year for my birthday. All I can say is that the day went like it should've been filmed for a sitcom lol.
Girly's back, had a great time, cold symptoms dormant the entire day! YAY!
Everybody was handed a glow stick when we walked in, so it was pretty cool to see them all over at the end and not just on stage.
Oh, and how sweet was it that I asked my friends the other day if we could go to John's after the show for a change? Can I call 'em or what?!
Off to bed. Nighty night!

Just popping in to share some new pics of Mr. Zander Alexander. As you can see, he has settled right in!
Zorra trying her best evasive maneuver:
Zander and his love of boxes:
And the handsome boy hanging out at the window:
How precious, YWIW!!!
I miss my kitties. I'm not bringing them over until tomorrow.
Ooh, sorry, Moto! The Red Door is the Elizabeth Arden spa. They have them all over, pretty much. Just assumed they were commonplace.
So, Girly, how was JOHN'S??????
YWIW, love the photos. Every time I tell me cats to get out of my room or off something they shouldn't be on, LS says, "They just turned 17. Leave them alone!"
Babies! So adorable.
He has a point there Miss P.
But, since Zander has the odd fascination with gumming exposed body parts at three in the morning, he is being kicked out in the middle of the night.
For Shira. Notice how even in cats, the men try to control the remote:
Hello my baby Zander! Oh, you're growing!
...So I was cleaning, my head hit a pillow, and I conked out for 2.5 hours. Hmmm, makes sleeping now a bit difficult!
I have a new Rx, and I think it made me really drowsy, though not one of the given side effects. I conked out for a couple of hours this afternoon.
And, Zander is now longer (though not heavier) than Zorra. He is going to be a big boy!
Well, he was a big boy when I was there, I can only imagine how much he's grown!
