I wish I could say it was the first time I saw Cheyenne, but it wasn't. It was when I saw him in DAMN YANKEES that the fainting started. I'd ask you to keep this information from Caldwell B. Cladwell, but he knows all about it, believe me.

MP, I was Joe in Damn Yankees many years ago and guess what? Girls fainted!!!!
Brd, I'm sure that if you played Joe in DAMN YANKEES today, we'd ALL faint!!!!

I just sighed for real and not *sighs*.
Oh, Brdy. I'm just busting your chops because you were needling me the other night. (Just the way brothers and sisters do!)
Don't feel sad. Look at all you've done in your life. You're wonderful! (I'm not kidding this time.)
We love you!!!

You are too kind! Speaking of sisters and brothers, I saw the thread about the large family, and I reflected how odd it is that I (from a large family) and Mrs. Brd are family people and, yet we have no family in Chicago.
We have no family nearby either. It's sad sometimes, but then when we're with them, we know it's better this way!!!
I am so frustrated.
Some people here seem to want the markets to completely fail, in order to punish those who were greedy and exploited all of the loopholes.
They do not understand the macroeconomic consequences of a complete market meltdown.
In BW terms - who is going to finance any shows if there is no money to lend?
Oy.
Hey night owls!
YWIW, I understand where you're coming from. It's very frustrating trying to discuss it with someone who thinks they actually understand it all. I'm getting my masters in finance and I don't even undrstad it all.
I understand enough to know that this could be very, very ugly. But, there is so much anger at the cause of the problem (which I share) that there is no willingness to provide a solution.
Somehow people think that they can compartmentalize the financial fallout, and things cannot get worse. I fear that they can get much, much worse.
Anyway, I am glad you are back at tazber once again. Be well!
Okay, so I turned 18 in June. Am I allowed to join this thread now?
Aww, thanks YWIW!
In all honesty, we are all to blame. Sure the politicians weren't regulating, but no one forced people into sub-prime mortgages.
And no one seemed to care when the market was hot that most of the banks were begging to give out interest only loans.
Point is, as you say, assigning blame is a waste of time. There is a compromise there and our elected officials need to find it. Now.
Night Taz.
Don't go getting yourself banned again now!
Lol. I'm gonna behave.
Goodnight.
Good. We can't be losing you again. Especially since you've now joined the adults!
It's like being reborn!
jk.
How are you doing my friend?
I'm wide awake and yet exhausted. You?
Deetsie! You're not asleep either! I guess it was all that stimulating conversation!!!
exactly the same! I've had a crazy week (this week started last Monday) and I'm finally getting to relax.
So wide awake, but also wiped out.
I have to go to Queens tomorrow, so I better get some sleep.
Welcome back, Tazzy!
XOOO
Probably, Miss P. But I'm very keyed up, despite the relaxing and wonderful dinner this evening.
Goodnight and thanks miss P!
Why are you keyed up Deet? Is it excitement or anxiety?
How ironic it is so be surfing this thread and listening to '13' at the same time.
