I never do, Miss P. There may be a few iced mochas in some bank teller's future.
Debit cards are great, DGG, mainly because they force you to spend within your means. If you haven't discovered that already, you will. Mwahahahahaha.

Posted: 8/20/08 at 5:34pmI hate spending within my means. It sucks sometimes. I have expensive tastes, dammit!

Me too, Shira. I mean spending within my means. You spending within your means is actually very entertaining for me.

Posted: 8/20/08 at 5:49pmThank you, D2. It was rough, but I managed. I did some great shopping in Los Angeles though - lots of Target, and even Goodwill!

Well then I just suck, because I spend below my means.
I used to love shopping at Goodwill for some cool jackets. I still have a great Tuxedo jacket.

I actually have two nephews, once removed, that I am going to start setting aside money for. My cousin has adopted them, and she does not have much in the way of money or disposable income, and my mom and I are probably going to help pick up the slack.
My sisters don't need it, so that is probably where I will direct some of my extra cash, when I have it.

Nah, I have very little family - and none of my sisters have kids. This is the closest I will come.
I have been lucky, so why not help out with those who could use a bit of luck.

But why buy them things when you can have more shoes?
(Wow, I'm going to be a great Mom! "Sorry sweetie, no new school clothes for you, Mommy needs Manolos")

I wish I had some extra bucks. I'd love to have enough to give it to my Goddaughter, so she could stay home with my babies until they're at least in school. But unless I hit the lottery big time, that's not gonna happen.
Waiting for my friends to get home from work so we can go to dinner for a birthday celebration for the brother of one of them. Their bus should be pulling in in about 10 minutes.

I'm home.
In the time it took for the travel, my sister left THREE messages on my phone, in which I'm pretty sure every expletive known to man was used. And my mother left me one - saying she always knew she shouldn't have had children.
I deleted them. The messages, I mean.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere in the world, isn't it?
Thank God I'm home.
Oh, and Shira, I feel just fine about being an FGF

I'm quite honored to be one of your FGs, Shira.
And I'm glad you deleted them, Q. The messages, I mean.
