I'm going to spend the night with them tonight.
I already have the bottle of scotch packed
ONE bottle?

D2 - they don't drink scotch, so it's all mine. And, I didn't say how big it was, did I?
Give them a hug!
That's what he has PACKED, D2. You should see what he has in the back of the car...

Not to mention what I already keep stocked at their house!
Gotcha! And I'm sure you're packing a sizable bottle, Q.
I don't think I know L&D. But I bet they're great!

I don't think you met them, Shira. They're our dear friends that we travel to NYC with - and I work with L (D is his wife.) There're a few people in NYC that have been able to meet them - they're smart, fun, 'alive' people, and I love both of them to death.
Oh, so at least I now know who they are in context!
I think sneezing man on the plane gave me a cold. The ratbastard.
Someone send some cold medicine my way.

Ok, too much time in this site. When someone on TV used the phrase "ratskallion", I thought, that is funny, but Y posts the phrase "ratbastard."
Thanks Shira.
I hate the feeling of a cold coming on, knowing there is not that much you can do to stop it!
Oy.
And DG - it has been pretty scary working for a financial services company. People are terrified, rightly so. My company is fine, but there is panic out there.

You - that sucks - take care of yourself!
You know, I've heard alcohol has some medicinal qualities . . .
I'll drink to that!
Well, maybe tonight at dinner. It will be at my mom's, so wine may be mandatory.
I missed the drinking?
I need some dental surgeries (UGH), and I've been sitting here trying to figure out my benefits left for this year and then for the upcoming year along with my FSA monies. Figure I'll split them up. Get some done now and then wait a little bit.

That reminds me... I should see how much I have left to go.
Holy moly, I go to a meeting for an hour and the market tanks. I have a headache.

I'm going to go take a nap.
Seriously.
Where is this headed?!?

Wow, what a nasty turn! I was working on the firms books! Not too bad for us thus far this year, nothing great though.
Holy Moly - the DOW is now at 8579.
My jaw is still on the floor.
What was it at this time last year?

14,000.
That is a 40% drop in the market.
