Ever since they lifted the old maritime law that limited cruise ships docking to two ports on any coast we have been getting lots of ships. They are building a huge cruise terminal here that will include restaraunts, a hotel and a 16 screen movie complex. It's quite a business I guess. I just booked a 14 day cruise on the Queen Mary 2 from SF to Sidney for my birthday in February. They are using SF for port origin on all of QM2's Pacific cruises this year.
Sailors! Different kind of cruise though Addy.

I did all right.

All of a sudden I'm getting interviews for part-time jobs - so exciting! I've been having so much trouble breaking into that area, and it's what I really need right now.

Yes, DD, I have to be very disciplined about not buying things that I've never seen before but suddenly can't live without when I go to Staples.

Rath - you should see me during Hallmark specials.

I wonder if she'll talk about that, Cheeze. Interesting... She had people on yesterday talking about getting cold feet before their weddings, and she was VERY outspoken about not wanting to give up part of herself to marriage...

I saw part of that - but she kept hedging and not really committing to anything. It was wierd when she was talking to Lance's ex and kept saying "That's why I have never married..." I thought that was odd.

Addy - I find that entire concept odd - don't you sort of give up something in ANY relationship? But most times the gains from being with that person outweigh what may be lost or sacrificed.
