I love that song Boobs!
LOL, Somms - how many thunderstorm songs are there?
Yum! Hot chocolate!

Should you guys be on your computers during a thunderstorm?
*worry, worry*
And with that, I'm off to the airport to join Shamey and Boobs in the Bahamas. Will send postcards throughout the weekend.

Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
Cream colored ponies and crisp apple streudels
Doorbells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles
Wild geese that fly with the moon on their wings
These are a few of my favorite things
Girls in white dresses with blue satin sashes
Snowflakes that stay on my nose and eyelashes
Silver white winters that melt into springs
These are a few of my favorite things
When the dog bites
When the bee stings
When I'm feeling sad
I simply remember my favorite things
And then I don't feel so bad
I knew that you were coming
By the thunderstorm last night
I swear I heard the north wind call your name
But a clear sky of blue stars
And the darling man you are
Makes it feel so good lying here next to you
I adore thunderstorms! My friend and I always used to go outside in them, even though our folks yelled at us to get in the house.

When I lived in Florida I used to love going out biking in the rainstorms.
That was one of the thousands of times when the "official" name on my Baptism certificate was used.

*amazed that girly and DD lived through childhood*
*on second thought, questions parents' warnings*
*Moony moosh*
she's sassy today!
Moonie... I was in college and living alone when I would go biking in the storms.
However, my parents were pretty wild. At the beach, we'd always go swimming past the point where waves begin - with my mom and dad.
I always played out in the rain during thunderstorms -- even after seeing a dozen cows on their backs with their legs straight up stiff after the big oak they were under was hit.

(kisses to my cookie)
my family, we're like weeds. Can't get rid of us that easily.
To this day my 75 year old mother runs around the house unplugging everything when she see's lightening. I think she's nuttier than I am given the odds.
I liked putting on my raincoat and rainboots and 'singing in the rain'.
Twirling an umbrella was a bonus.

However, she DID live to be 75. And insanity is heriditary.
My sisters did a tap dance number to "Raindrops Are Falling on My Head" on Costarican national tv.
Now Moonie you know that we live past 100.

BECAUSE WE STAY INSIDE DURING THUNDERSTORMS, CUZ!
DD- sisters? Plural? I didn't know you had another.
Barring accidents, most people in my family have died of old age.
Alrighty kids, I'm out.
I'll drink many pink, fruity and slushy drinks for all of you. See ya Sunday night!
See you in a couple of hours Shamey..Moonie and me will meet you at the airport.
