Hola everybody! I am at work for a half day. My only obligation over the weekend was to get one load of laundry for my trip done, and it is still sitting there. Typical. Got to see (or more like had to sit through) the Cheney's motorcade yesterday afternoon - biy, what a big hoo - ha that was! Do motorcades typically travel with ambulances in line? I thought that part was odd.

And, I've been known to leave laundry until the last minute before a trip. I've pulled an all-nighter doing laundry, and was worried that clothes would still be drying when it was time to leave... It made for a fun party, though.

Addy - you and Dd and DG and everyone else should come to Italy with me next summer! Florence, Assisi, the Amalfi coast and Rome! Think of the great time we would have. Of course, we'd have to post each day and sent phots back home to BWW.

I went to the Amalfi (Positano), Capri and Rome last September. I think a return trip, with a visit to Florence and Assisi is just the thing! Just think of it...


And, I just saw on 'Ellen' that everyone in the studio audience today got two free round-trip tickets to London on Virgin Atlantic. I need to go to more talk shows... What an amazing give-away. The audience went beserk!

Loved Positano, but the beach was not pretty nor fun. But the shops and restaurants were to die for. Loved Capri as well, but didn't make it up to Tiberias' Place - it was in the mid 90's the whole time we were there.

And Rath....you never said you wanted to go. Join the party - it is your motherland, after all.
