Oh, so glad I could help, DD! And that's just so wonderful that everyone was able to chip in something to help the teammate. Good karma. Pay it forward...
Did you find your tickets?
Yes I did! There were somewhere I had already, very carefully, looked. After having a chat with St. Anthony. Go figure.
Anyway... going out for a bit. Have a great evening all!
“Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh," he whispered.
"Yes, Piglet?"
"Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw, "I just wanted to be sure of you."”
I just felt like sharing that. I love it so much.
DD, that's wonderful support.

Addy, that's one of my favorite passages from Winnie the Pooh.
Ok, I'm really leaving now.

St. Anthony ALWAYS works for me. ALWAYS.
DD, I've always loved that one... Have a wonderful evening.

I know this may be odd, given what I've shared on the board the last couple of years, but if we're going to be singling out 'Saints' for remembrance, I'd like to throw in one of my personal heroes - Saint Francis.
And just because my mind is seeking out the solace of pleasant memories of the past, has anyone ever seen BROTHER SUN, SISTER MOON? It's Zefferelli's film about Francis.

"Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there is hatred, let me bring you love;
Where there is injury, your healing pow'r,
And where there's doubt, true faith in you.
Make me a channel of your peace:
Where there's despair in life let me bring hope;
Where there is darkness, - only light,
And where there's sadness, ever joy.
O Spirit, grant that I may never seek
So much to be consolded as to console,
To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love with all my soul -
Make me a channel of your peace.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
In giving to all that we receive,
And in dying that we're born to eternal life."
Thanks. Addy.
Who's the Patron Saint of SURVIVORS?
'morning all!
The graduation was nice, even if I was up at 5:30 and on the road at 7:50 on a SUNDAY morning. Pomp and Circumstance always puts a lump in my throat. An Honorary Degree was given to Philip Bosco, who also gave the Commencement Address, so that was kind of cool for me. I saw him in 12 Angry Men last year and Chitty, too. So, now she has a Master of Arts in Education. Yay Godbaby!
My little boy was a sweetie as always! Mommy was holding him, and I walked up next to her, and he flung his arms out at me to take him from her. That made me smile.
Hope you all had a nice weekend!

Morning all! Is the coffee perking?
Girly - I was at a graduation in Baltimore on Saturday - in the middle of the Preakness traffic. Who schedules these things? Bob Costas was the speaker.
Recovering from a busy weekend - graduation, 3 performances of our spring musical, dinners and receptions and went shopping for a front door for my mother's house. It's finally under construction, almost 9 months after it was destroyed by Katrina. Considering all the labor and supply shortfalls in the Gulf region, we are very fortunate to be this far ahead. I dread the coming hurricane season, though......
Special love to very special people today.
A loving hug for Somms, especially.
Believe me, this "piglet" is sure of ALL of you! Hope to have good news soon!
Oh, Pip! I was hoping you would see that!
Sending you love and hugs! Please know that you're in our thoughts and prayers!
Lots of hugs to Pip and Glitzy !!!!
Good morning, everyone.
