Thank you, D2. That's extremely comforting. I'm still afraid to go back upstairs.
Come on, take my hand Miss P, we'll go together...
As long as that's not the inside of the PSYCHO house, Deet!
As far as I know, that's not Dollypop's house, Miss P.
LO-VERY-L!!!!!!!!!!!!
Day two of house guests... UGH!
Poor YWIW. So who are these very welcome guests?
YWIW, I'll remember you posted that the next time you invite ME to be a house guest!
Miss P, you no doubt, would be a lovely guest.
My sister, however, has been through a bit too much therapy, and thinks that everything she says has some deep cosmic meaning...
Her husband is adorable. Now my other sister is coming to go swim. It is a freaking production for them to go 100 yards to the pool.
Oy!
She is one of those high maintenance people, who think they are low maintenance...

Oh geez, it sounds like no holiday for you, YWIW. But swimming sounds like fun!
I am letting the three of them enjoy. I don't do sun well...
I really do like my family - from a distance...
I'm right there with you when it comes to family.
I was VERY happy that my aunt, uncle and two cousins that were vacationing in New York for about a week only ended up having time for one night with me. That was far more than enough!
Well, it is time to pull out the Boa and begin a chorus of "Let Me, Entertain You" because the other sister is about to arrive.
Happy 4th Adults!
Same to you, You! Enjoy as best you can.

XANADU and hopefully GYPSY. We'll see!
Yes I am, Miss P. So, I have to drive the hour to New Haven, but its not too bad.
Oh yeah, if you can see Gypsy, it's worth it. The whole cast was quite remarkable, not just Patti.
And enjoy Cheyenne. I think it's time to rush for Xanadu soon. I haven't seen it, and definitely need to catch it before July 19th.
I think I'm going to take my kids to see Xanadu in August. I've been listening to the CD this week and appreciating the show more than ever. It should have one at least one Tony, goddammit!!!

Um, Cheyenne won't be there tomorrow. He's starting DY tomorrow. I'm very disappointed.
I agree Miss P - I think it should have won at least 2! And been nominated for 2 more!
If it's still running in October I think I'll take my niece to see it when she's up visiting.
Edit: Never mind. I see that DY runs July 5-27. Okay... I still want to see the show, but after seeing him - ahem, his thighs - perform at the Tonys, yeah...
Pay attention, Cheffy. It starts this weekend - there are a whole bunch of us going to see it on the 19th.

Yeah. Believe me, I was pissed when I found out.
I'm going to make the most of the trip anyway, though.
I'm off. Later!
Kerry Butler is just hilarious on the CD. And why Cheyenne didn't got a nom is beyond me. I also LOVE Mary Testa in Xanadu. She deserved a nom if not the award itself! GGGRRRRRRRRRRRR. (Awards are such BS anyway.)
I know that Cheyenne won't be in Xanadu for a while, which is why I'm NOT taking the kids to see it until August!
But the show itself is fabulous, girls. It's not all about Cheyenne, so don't worry!
It's NOT? Did we see the same show, Miss P?
Well, that's fine. I'll be in New York until the second week of August. I'll rush for Xanadu in August, I guess. My list of shows to see is long, anyway. I might try August: Osage County tomorrow. We'll see, I have some choices.
