Addy, I've chosen 'Silk Stockings' for the afternoon's first feature. To be followed by 'How to Steal a Million.' Cyd Charisse and Audrey Hepburn would be perfect guests for a dull Monday.
Miss P, Egan is becoming quite popular among landscape lovers. Dynamic seems to be the adjective of choice when describing her work.
Excellent choices, Hep. I love both of those movies, particularly HOW TO STEAL A MILLION. Audrey, Peter, Paris, the 60s,a comic caper - what's not to love!?!
Deet, a third film is in order - Charade. Audrey, Cary and a wash and wear suit.
And yet another "1776" reference this Fourth of July weekend: Peter Stone wrote the screenplay for Charade.
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Audrey Hepburn film - even more so than MFL! I don't care how many times I watch that film, it never loses it's magic.
On the rare occasions I get to teach a typography class, I assign it to my graphic design students as a case study in Film Title design, and challenge them to design something better. They rarely do, although it does stimulate them (for an "ancient" film.")
Happy Monday peeps lah.
Boobs!
"Sawadee khrap"?

My fuschia Bougainvillea is blooming. I need Audrey in pink to grace our home and make it perfect.
How can they complain? It's a fine noir with Joseph Cotton, Orson Wells and a wonderful score.
"How To Steal A Million" - Sounds like a movie I should see :)
Just remember that the password is 'togetherness.'
Password to what?
You'll see.
Oh, um, okay Hep. I sense I must watch the movie.
"Sawadee khrap"?
Girly, it means "Welcome" in Thai....this is what a man says a woman would say Sawadee Khra" Becuase the language has 5 tones it's almost sung so that to our ears the "hr" is actually silent...so it's more like "Sawadee Cop"
morning
Yeah, I remember you posting Sawadee before. I didn't remember the rest. Thought it was their version of "crap", having to do with it being crappy Monday.
Morning. Bleh.
