DGG! How was Xanadu and your sojourn to the big, bad city?
I forgot I was going to count groundhogs and just put laundry in. Now I have to wait. Bleh.
Edited because, apparently, I've forgotten how to spell.

AMAZING!!!
I was blown away (still am) by GYPSY! And XANADU was just fun. Both Cheyenne and Kerry were out, which was disappointing at first, but I think I actually like her understudy's voice better. Curtis was on for Cheyenne, and though he doesn't have as rich a tone as Cheyenne, he still was amazing. And so cute!
And seeing Shira was a blast! She's awesome!
glad you had a good time DGG.
Oh you did get to see Gypsy! Excellent!
How were the free seats for Xanadu? The theatre's so small, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house.
Curtis was my first Sonny. Well, if you don't count the Sonny I knew a buncha years ago. My friend and I had our Xanadu tix, then JC got hurt and Cheyenne got announced for the show, but he was starting the week AFTER our tickets were for. I really liked Curtis in the show and was really questioning the Cheyenne casting until I actually saw him in. Silly me. What was I thinking?! But I do love Curtis. Ever since I saw him in Taboo.

Yes, we had front row in the right box for GYPSY. Patti blew me a kiss after "Rose's Turn." I died.
The seats were fine. Nothing special, but it isn't like you can miss anything in there. It's so tiny! The whole cast was really friendly at the stage door. I got a picture with Curtis. I think he's my new Broadway crush. He's adorable.

Is Moony's BFF two-timing her?
And by the way, any dirt on Shira?

Haha! so I've heard. No worries! She told me how sweet you are.
She really was great. I'm always nervous about spending time with people I don't know well, and she put me completely at ease. We had a lovely brunch.
Hooooooooowdy! Greetings from the Volunteer State!

Wow, that must be a pretty big check Shira is sending!
Morning Adults - off to do some errands. I have been watching Wimbledon, but, alas, I need to get some stuff done.

Wow, I got back in time to see the last portion of the last set. Amazing.
I guess BWW was watching as well, because the site was down!
I feel grown up now - I just bought a suit for the first time in my life.
We're playing Charades as I type...and my laundry spins.
I just finished cutting up a Jicama, and have a watermelon to go.
Beautiful day here in SoCal!

It's nice here, too. Not as hot, but still pretty warm. Thank goodness for central air!
