It's quite nice here too ... and I'm loving being at home doing nothing until I have to go to rehearsal.
My son is such a sore loser! And my daughter is REALLY good at Charades.

MissP - I haven't played charades since I was their age!
I'd have to work on that 'sore loser' thing.

I'm horrible at Charades. I love it, though.
The boy is coming over to go for a walk after supper. Pathetic, how excited and nervous I am.

MissP - my comment sounded horrible - sorry about that
Interesting, a link to a download of the Mama Mia soudtrack was posted on the main board. I wonder how long it will last. I already ordered it, so it is not worth the risk (however small it may be) just to get a few days head start.
I look forward to that OST, YWIW!
Spent an afternoon in Harlem, off to drinks and dinner now!
Here's the thing about LS being a "sore loser": At school he never gets upset if he loses. At a birthday party or something, he doesn't get upset if he loses. If we have "company" over and we play a game, losing doesn't bother him. It's ONLY when he plays with me alone (or just me and his sister). It must be some kind of a "competing for attention" thing that has to do with mommy.
Don't worry, DG. I do NOT "cave." I just tell him, "Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. That's life. If you only want to play when you are sure to win, no one is ever going to want to play with you again." Important life lesson here.
Ooh! Are we playing?
internet charades? Don't think that will work real well.
First word. Sounds like...
Where did my four day weekend go?!
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
I'm with you girly! And mine was only 3 days!
Chris leaves tomorrow for a trade show in Houston and the dryer isn't drying his clothes. This can't be good lol.

I start training in the deli tomorrow. Yuck.
Night!
I can't decide if I want to watch a movie or go to bed.
Sunday night decisions...
Movie sounds lovely, Addy!
I watched Dirty Dancing, The In-Laws, and the beginning part of The Notebook today. I have "The Birdcage" tivo-ing right now.
Fun movies, Tink!
I'm also between books. I need to find a great summer read!
It's an overcast Monday. I think an uplifting movie would hit the spot.
The question is... which one?!
I am taking tomorrow off, so I still have one day left!
I LOVE a Monday off! My favorite day of the week to have off.
Enjoy it, YWIW!
I'm drawing a blank. Any films suggestions? I would be grateful.
Is there ever a slow time of the year for you, Addy?
GH, a musical always works...
Tink, it really seems like there isn't these days. By August I should be able to breathe a little. Can't wait!
Heppy, how was the play?
I have grown fond of an Australian artist named Melissa Egan. Ever heard of her?
Hi, y'all! I hope everyone had a splendid weekend!
