The funny thing about aging is it seems to creep up - and then gather speed as it goes downhill. At some point, all of a sudden there's this drastic decline that's quite noticable.

In some ways I am lucky - my mom is still doing great at 73, and my dad died relatively quickly, so there was no lingering illness. He went downhill after the bypass surgery, but he still had most of his mental faculties until the last incident. He was never the same after the bypass surgery - his short term memory was compromised. That is an apparent side-effect they don't tell you about.
Shira, it is late for you, or very early.
DG - I hate the heat, so I am more likely to go to Mill Valley
and find someone... I will try and drop in - work is hit and miss, sometimes I am completely jammed up, and other times, I have some time.
Night DG - I hope tomorrow is a bit better for you and TinMan.

YWIW - It is very late. I'm writing 1/2 now on the book I remembered to bring with me, and getting up early and heading home (I'm still with the puppies tonight) and writing the second 1/2.
I guess I work better under pressure because I go through this for almost every paper!

Oh good lord, my friends and family are the very best. I honestly can't say that enough! 
And eeeek to forgetting your book, Shira. Especially considering the day you've had. :-* Please excuse the ginormous mess you'll see when you come back to the apartment. That'll be taken care of tomorrow afternoon.

I'll definitely share Sunday's adventure sometime in the afternoon.
And yammering, I can totally deal with. As long as you don't mind my exploded closet (4 days of saying "What in the bloody f*ck am I wearing today?!) and a slightly gross dirty dish situation, no problemo! But don't worry, your desk/work space is undisturbed! 0:)
