Does anyone have any idea how frustrating it was for me today to be able to see the thread titles, but not be able to read anything?? If I clicked on one to read/post, I would get an IE error and the browser would close!! I think I got to post 2 times total. I planned on reading papa's siblings thread tonight, but that got deleted. Then the one that asked where it went got deleted! I saw a couple threads by Corine I wanted to read. Those are usually good for a chuckle or two. I would've been better off not being able to get into BWW at all!

Whew. I think I'm done venting now.

I know this thread has been safe-guarded from negativity - by myself, as much as anyone. But I have to question something, so if you don't want to know what I'm talking about, then quit reading.

Even though I haven't been posting much, I've been reading - daily. And the whole antagonism from some posters towards others has not gone unnoticed.

So my question is, when I read these same posters interacting on the board as if nothing had ever been said, what am I supposed to think?

Either there's a flurry of PMs that the rest of us are not privy to, or none of it really matters, and it all amounts to nothing in the long run. If it's the former, then you need to keep your ridiculous private dramas to yourself - and if it's the latter, then none of this counts for anything, and is a prime example of my time being wasted.

If it's the former, then I hope those that I actually know and care about are not participating - and if it's the latter, then someone ought to be ashamed, because some amount of energy and emotion has been invested here, and it's being trashed.

Maybe it's just the fact that many people on this board don't even realize how much their words can hurt others...

This is a Message Board and even though many of the posters know each other in real life, too, it's still much more clinical than a personal conversation. This makes it much easier to shrug something off as a cant...

Don't know if I missed the point here... Just my two cents!

DG, much happens here in PM, in phone call, in email, and in person with the folks who know each other. If you don't understand what's happening why not simply ask the parties involved?
