Morning all... ***yawn*** coffee please... ZZZZZzzzzz.....
*hugs to Mamie and Mom*
Morning all! I was just posting a note to Glebb to bring his new baby to NY and St. John's on October 1st for the blessing of the animals. Have any of you ever been there for that?
That cup of joe is perfect, SOMMS. Thanks so much! The delivery boy from the bakery just got here too:
Oo la la, and a French boy at that! Anybody need another cuppa?
I'm pouring.

Pour me a tall one, please. If you have an alcohol around, I'll take a shot or (or five) as well.
This week has been so bad that I actually went home and wrote a letter of resignation last night. It's dated September 1, so I have time to think about it, but I'm very close to signing it. I really don't need this s*** in my life.

Thanks, cuz. I love ya. Now, you got a job for me?
Name the school here in New Jersey. We're desperate for teachers. But it is NEW JERSEY!

Actually, I'm not teaching this year - all administrative and events. Could be part of the problem!
Good Morning - Thanks for the coffee and pastries everyone.
Mamie - glad you're enjoying your late morning. I'm enjoying my last few days before I have to go back to my school job.
Moony - sorry to hear about your tentative resignation. Our school district is having some issues. The teachers thought they had a contract but the new superindentent said no. I'm sure there is a story behind that situation. Hope things get better!
I have many things to do today. Laundry, cleaning, trying to keep Wally from chewing up things. So far I've lost a few pair of shoes and a Longaberger basket oh and of course the keyboard. I may have to pull his teeth!
"all administrative and events"
Well that's what I do! I love you, but you can't have my job. Wait, they handed me 27 meetings/trainings/etc. for Sept/Oct the other day. You CAN have my job.
Thanks, addict. I'll be pulling out of here in about a half hour. This is luxurious compared to my normal 5 am start!

Hey Moony...I'm ready to do the same thing....wanna go live on a commune? Better yet...let's start one of our own.

The Moony-Boobs Commune. I tried Boobs-Moony, but it didn't souns as elegant. I have a strange notion of "elegant".
That's sound perfect darling !!! And people can walk around showing their moons and boobs if they'd like.

But we'll charge them. We do have bills to pay, you know.
LOL - I was going to ask if I could join, until I read that last part. Some moons and boobs are so far beyond the viewing stage that they really should be kept hidden. (At least at the start of the day!)
Good Morning adults! Next couple of days will be busy. Getting a lot done before a one week trip to London.
Moony, I was in the same situation as you. I did follow through and submit my resignation. I have something temporary lined up for now and am looking for something permanent.
That takes a lot of strength! I admire your bravery, Harpo.
I'm off to work. Everyone have a lovely day!

Mamie - we'll wave the moon and boobs charge for you.
Harpo - it's a bit scary, but sometimes necessary, no? Are you commuting into DC now?
No, I'm still in my current job until September 15th. I'll probably be moving soon depending on what permanent job I get.
I agree, it is sometimes very necessary.

Well, good luck! I think you should relocate to NYC so we could see shows with you. If you wait long enough the commune will be up and running. Right now we only have the coffee maker running.
Well, I come with a waffle iron, blender and a fat cat.

As long as the fat cat doesn't eat the waffles, you're in.
