This is quite unusual weather... but since unusual seems to be the norm now, what, I ask, is unusual?

As much as I'd like to believe I can live on the east coast again, as much as I'd love to live on the east coast again, I truly, TRULY can't stand the humidity in the summer. Heat is one thing. Hot and humid another.

btw, the big news yesterday was that some developer wants to bring NYC lifestyle to Seattle by building condos starting at 296 sq. ft., and selling them for $150,000. Now, the reason we live here is so that we don't have to live in a closet!

I can't believe no one started a thread about the deplorable tacticts of the tobacco companies - raising nicotine levels in cigarettes over the past few years. THAT alone makes me think twice about even buying a pack of cigarettes.

This is the 'business trip' to check out a theatre we're thinking of doing a season with. It's in the South-west quadrant of the state, which I haven't explored much, so it will be nice if only on that level.
