Good morning, DD. I'm almost up. I can't sleep and now my cat is chewing on my ear (she wants me to get up and get her breakfast).

I'm not looking forward to this week. TOO HOT!

Good morning, all! Remember me? Maine was fabulous - lots of fun activities and great weather. I could get used to that life.

Small world story: we rented kayaks almost every day. One day there was a wait on the dock and I got to talkinmg with one of the guys who works there in the summer. Turns out he just graduated from NYU - Tisch. Musical Theater major, he and his partner take turns running down to NYC for auditions. And, yes, he's on BWW! He's registered, but lurks rather than posts, and sticks to the main board (what fun is that???). But he was familiar with most of us here. He is also originally from Maryland and his family home is in Miss Pennywise's neighborhood. You just never know who you'll meet.......

OW! I just heard the weather forecast. Heat index here is 108 tomorrow and 113 on Wednesday.

I sure am glad this isn't Global Warming* or we'd be in a lot of trouble!

Damn, and I think this is me getting up very early. I often haven't even gone to sleep at the time DD and Mamie woke up...actually, I went to bed like half an hour before DD woke up...is this what adult life is like?

I'm turning 20 tomorrow, so how far away from adult life does that make me?

I got my coffee and all.

I looove cinnabons too!

When is it supposed to cool down a bit?

Cookie what's preventing you from going on vacation? I should talk, my last official vacation (meaning actually going somewhere besides NYC) was over two years ago (though I take vacation days from time to time).
