Ooooh, how lovely. I'm presently taking a break from running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get things ready for my quick getaway to Colorado. If you're the caretaker, you not only have to have yourself together, but everything in order for the lonely man left behind. Not that he's not capable, but . . . well . . . oh, nevermind.

I'm sorry, hon! I find myself so preoccupied with the prospect of facing family members during our turmoil that very little is getting done. I wish I could keep it all in perspective and move on - but it really is consuming my reality.

All of which is to say that I wouldn't have been very good company anyway!
