That is funny Moony! Heat wave is basically over here..thank God. We are still waiting on the storms but it is feeling cooler outside. By the way goodmorning everyone. Trying to get house chores done today. I have to work long hours the next two days. I know I shouldn't complain since I don't have to work every day at least for 1 more month!
Morning addict !!!! glad to hear it's cooler there. This isn't supposed to break until the weekend..so 1 more day.
Morning Boobs - Yes, New York is always about a day behind us in weather. Did you read my post yesterday that I bought a rt airfare ticket to NY for $58 for the week of Sept 20. Now I just have to work out all the other details. It was too good to pass up. Hopefully things will work out without too many issues. I really want to go to the flea market.
Radio/T.V. say it's only supposed to be 85 tomorrow, with slight humidity.

Morning All!
Margaret Johnson and her clan sang me to work today in the drizzle.
Thank God for the iPod and thank God for Sweeney, Drowsy and Piazza these days.
Morning, all.
Glebb, I love the Drowsy CD.
Boobs, what happened to the big hair-do? I'm sure the humidity got the best of it.
*waves to Girly, Glebby and Dottie*
Addict...how could you pass that up??? So hopefully some of us can get together when you're in. Keep us posted !!!
Dottie...I couldn't deal with the hair anymore with this humidity.

And it looks like that's a very air-conditioned dress. Lots of ventilation going on there.
God it is TOO hot for clothes today! How is everyone this steamy morning??
Good morning Beautiful people! Pancakes or mancakes, anyone?
Mancakes? What are those, or is it too obvious?!
Well I have a picture, but I think it just might confirm your already formed thoughts.
Though syrup's for pancakes I pour mine on mancakes! I think we're all on the same page. Is it too early for that? sorry...
Oh were all on the same page, I'm just not sure we all eat the same food.
speaking of...gotta have breakfast. Talk to you sweets later!
When you see a dozen ConEd trucks outside your building at work, you know something is wrong...
There are reports of electrical outages in DC, Moony. Hope you're not affected!

No outages here cookie, unless you count my brain.
My daughter called to say that the subway trains are running very slow today due to the effect of the heat on the rails and Amtrak's Acela trains have been slowed down up and down the eastern seaboard.
A memo came about and stated that there are equipment problems in the area. Hence, reduction in non-essential services.
So I'm working in the dark.
Not that that is out of the ordinary...
Glad to hear you're not affected Moony!
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!
