It's legal - I was already given a grace period till 11:00 this a.m., because the boss was out Friday and yesterday. They can't hold off on doing payroll because of one person.

At the temp job before this, all I had to do was get it signed, then I was in charge of getting it to the agency. Here, I'm not allowed to do anything but fill it out - this place is insane. Someone else has to take it to the boss to get it signed as well as then fax it.

I hate not having control of it - having to BEG for money, basically.

Having done payroll. If there is a deadline for direct deposit or something then it has to go. That being said - surely they can process it as advance - and catch it up later its just numbers and the accounting can be done later. Even a manual cheque can be processed in a pinch. Let me talk to your payroll/accounting department I'll tellw them how to do it.

Oh and BTW..we're having Pietro's for lunch....veal parm, chicken parm, shells in this delicious brown sauce and nice green salad....so if you want to walk over here..and you know where I am...I'm sure I can throw some scraps your way doll face.

All I know is, if I wasn't getting paid for work I had done - and it was in no way my fault that I wasn't - I'd be getting money from somewhere, even if I had to mug the person who was responsible.

I just can't believe that no one - either in the office there, or the temp agency itself - isn't willing to take some steps to make sure you aren't jeopardized because of this.
