Yes it does! Very cute!
Sending positive thoughts your way, YWIW...for you AND Stoli.
I love my cats. They will be 17 in September. They're family.
Quilty and Lolita
What a pair of beauties!
Quilt is a great name (as is Lolita).
Night Adults. Have a great today (for those on the East Coast) and tomorrow (for those on the Left Coast).

I now have a phone that takes pictures. I think I'd like to learn how to do that, and then be able to share them here. We just had our Christy groomed today, and I'd love to share her prettiness - especially as I feel she's on the 'downward slide', so to speak.
You? A Cell phone that takes pictures? DG, that just seems so unlike you!
Well, it's 3 am (I'm on Atlantic Time) so g'night!
DG, what kind of cellphone did you get? I may be able to help you with that camera thang.
just got in from a night of adventure...but I did too much counseling....boo.
night night! Hope we can all catch up soon!
*popping in to say howdy to all the night owls*
Tazber, I don't like referring to myself as a "night owl." I prefer "vampire." It's so much more theatrical, you know?

Please, MissP, it's just the sucking part you resonate with.
I can't BELIEVE I just typed that!
Yeah, whatever
And Shira - It's only because I got a TinMan reject. Know what else? It actually has messages that I can actually retrieve!!! I'm sure my other one could, too, but I never investigated how.
We've had a digital camera for awhile. I could have been taking pictures and sharing all along. But that would involve investigation and . . . interest.
What can I say - once a technophobe, always a . . .
But thanks for the offer, MissP!
I LOVE your cats miss P!
And I prefer vampire too, it fits in with my love of horror.
There are several comebacks to that statement about me and sucking that I could post, but that would NOT be ladylike of me, and lord knows I am the epitome of grace and etiquette!
Don't feel bad, DG. I actually got PAID to be a photographer back in the day, and I have owned many, many cameras throughout my life. (My dad started giving me cameras when I was a wee child.) However, CBC bought me a very simple digital camera for my birthday one year (because I requested it, BTW) and I didn't attempt to use it for nearly TWO YEARS! Of course, once I did, that was that.
(Thanks for the catlove, Tazzy.
I also think vampires are "romantic." Owls are just, oh, I don't know, birds.)

Shira - let's keep this simple. Texting? No ****ing way. I'm JUST trying to come to terms with being able to accept voice messages!
Honestly, the thought of being 'always available' gives me the willies! I mean honestly! I didn't even HAVE a phone - of ANY kind - for over a decade. I think I've made GREAT acquies . . . I mean 'strides'.
Oh I know. I can't really imagine texting with you. Voice messages are a HUGE stride, and I commend you! (I really do. My mother still can't get hers).
I'm technically "unavailable" while I'm in Canada. Fine my me. It's not like I'm unreachable, dammit!

Shira - some day, some how, I'm going to take you DEEP into nature - yes, NATURE! - and let you experience life outside all these . . . constraints.
It's FREEING!
Trust me.
Um okay, let's get some things straight!!
I will likely go hiking while I'm here. And I think I'm going to go four-wheeling, whatever that actually is.
And..AND. I went JOGGING today. For the first time in my life. I jogged 2 km!
FREEING? That isn't what you were saying about "nature" the other night when those ants were crawling all over me!
And why do people willingly subject themselves to that, Miss P?

To quote our dear PJ - "Oh, for crap's sake!"
But I did jog for the first time, and it was pretty "freeing".
Shira, um, let me think. What possible reason COULD there be? I've pondered that enigma for decades. Perhaps it is a bizarre way for people to punish themselves for all the cruelty they bestowed upon their fellowman. Or maybe they believe that "communing with nature" balances out their capitalistic consumerism and creates the illusion that they are not depleting the earth of all its natural resources on a daily basis.
Either that or they really are tree-huggers and they're just NUTS!

Oh, I'm nuts, alright.
And considering the absolute peace and sense of freedom I've found 'out in the wild', I will continue being nuts for as long as I am able!
Join me, if you dare . . .
I'm sorry, but anyone who goes to the theatre as often as you do is NOT a "tree hugger." I'm talking about granola-eating, hygiene-neglecting ponytailers when I use that expression. You, dearest DG, are none of the above. (And we're ALL nuts, in one way or another. Some of us in ten way. Or twenty!)

Oh, please. You don't have to be a granola-head to enjoy the outdoors! Do you think I'm not staying in hotels each night when I do this?!?
There are ways . . .
