Thanks for the good thoughts - hopefully this will be something on the "not so bad" side of things. I will not know anything until Monday.

The location of the mass via an X-ray is just to uncertain - it could be something with the pancreas, or the stomach - there are just so many organs in that area that the vet cannot be certain until the Ultrasound.

He is getting some extra special treats today.

Zorra seems to realize I am upset, because she is being especially cute.

I think that bottle of red wine I did not open last night will be opened tonight...

YWIW - You made me go over and cuddle up with Tootsy on the floor. You're all in my prayers.

(Yes - I do pray for animals. Frankly I think they're a little closer to the angels than a lot of people I know.)

I posted something before--as soon as you got back from the vet but it never showed up. (I think BWW was doing some sort of clean-up.)

Anyway, what I said was that we are all thinking of you, Zorra and, especially, Stoli. We're hoping that the remedy will be a relatively simple one and Stoli will be back on the road to good health shortly thereafter.

A really positive way to look at things like this, for me, is to keep in mind that it wasn't too long ago that the technology to identify these conditions didn't exist. Fortunately, they can now pinpoint and diagnose the problem... as well as treat it.

Starina would have died within hours of her birth if she had been born 10 years earlier, so we count our blessings...among them the miracle of modern medicine and medical technology!

It is either wine of some Bombay Sapphire - not sure which yet.

Shira, here was a hiccup in the Saturday festivities when you are in town. So, at some point, we will need to touch base to see who we can convince to cook for us!

And he's sick and can't come over.

I feel like crying. It was all I've looked forward to for days.

DGG - remember that you ASKED for FGFs when you read this!

Your thoughts should be about him - who is SICK - and maybe not so much about how you got dressed up for nothing.

I'm going to assume that you ARE concerned about him, and only came here to vent - which you are MORE than allowed to do.

But, I do hope you check in on him, and ask if there's anything you can do to help . . .

I've had it already. I'm mostly safe.

And I got it from sharing a drink in 9th grade. Not even the fun way.

DG, I wasn't kissing anyone, I assure you. I assume I just shared something or whatnot, but the exact trail of contagion I cannot identify.
