Too hot! I liked it this morning when it was cooler.

Pooch is doing ok. His energy comes and goes. The vet thinks taking it slow is good. I guess I'm just impatient. His appetite is odd and that's difficult since I have to give him pills in the morning before I go to work. If he has no appetite, I can't really sit around all day waiting for him to get hungry.

Random - I had no idea they did a sequel to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants until a couple weeks ago. The nice thing about not knowing, is not having a long wait for it to come out.

Our dog has been scrathing his eyes, but that is a minor ailment. A little ointment should do the trick.

The weather sucks here today, hot, humid and stormy.

We're getting ready to leave. VERY SAD. We had a great time but didn't get to see one single adult! BOO! (But I guess I get to see some of you NEXT weekend, so all I need to do is exercise a little patience, right?)

Addy, you're a butterfly.

YWIW, I went out for dinner last night and Stoli's name was all over the martini menu! I thought of him throughout dinner. (CBC even ordered a Stoli martini in his honor!) Quilty LOVES olives, BTW. Always has.

D2, we need to talk. Hope you're doing okay.

Well, perhaps Quilty and Stol are long-lost siblings. You never know.

I am sorry you all did not get to hook up with any Adults - it was a loss for all.

Safe travels home for you and yours. Thank CBC for the shout-out to my beast.

D2, I hope all went went OK with your visit with your folks. I know that had to be tough.

Off to run a couple of errands. I may even go buy a bottle of Stoli for good measure.

Thanks, YWiW - it wasn't easy but it wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. And my niece and her husband are pretty much in the same boat as you are - it's just a matter of making the dog as comfortable and happy for as long as possible.
